01 Sweet Baby Banner Gift and care card

Hello and welcome to the PCC blog again. Today it’s me, Ellen, sharing this sweet baby banner gift I made using the: “Pretty Birdhouse SVG”,  “Mama & Baby Bird in Nest SVG”, “Sweet Baby Safety Pins SVG” and the hearts from “Cloud Raining Hearts SVG” from the PCC Shop.

Sweet Baby Banner Gift

First of all I made my garland with HTV and my cutting machine. I combined the flowers of the birdhouses with the text and added a little heart here and there.

Sweet Baby Banner Gift

Because there was also a bird on the baby card of Mia, these could of course not be missed on my flags. The eyes are the core of the flowers (cut out in a black color). My drawing was too fine to cut out the eyes as originally intended.

Sweet Baby Banner Gift

Do you know Canva? It is a website with which you can create professional posters, documents, Instagram posts and much more. PCC also provides png photos in the SVG sets. Ideal for making beautiful cards to add to your projects for sure with the help of this website.

Sweet Baby Banner Gift

I also made a note with washing instructions and ideas for what you can use the banner for. You can’t read it because it is of course in Dutch (my native language). But this project shows that you can also use the pretty PCC illustrations for much more than you think at first glance!

Hopefully you find this blog post super inspiring. I am really happy with the result of this sweet baby banner gift ideas!

I wish you many creative moments today and see you soon!

Make Your Own Button Pins

Hello friends!  Did you know you can easily make your own button pins? It’s really easy to make these fun buttons as party favors, gifts, and just a bit of flare for fun!  I used the “Cute Mermaids SVG”, which is wonderful because you have so many different options for mermaids and ocean critters. I’m making these as little gifts to send to my crafty friends.

To make these buttons, I used the WRMK ButtonPress, which now has a variety of different sizes and shaped buttons you can create. Today I’m making some Large circle buttons.

You can see my full video tutorial here – <LINK TO VIDEO ON PCC CHANNEL>

Here are 10 quick & easy steps for making custom buttons:

STEP 1
Print out your button designs.
I used the assembled, flat PNGs included in the Cute Mermaids bundle

DIY Birthday Gift Bag and Tag

DIY Birthday Gift Bag and Tag

Ciao friends! This is Morena from Morena’s Corner! I used the adorable Happy Birthday SVG Files and Clipart Bundle with metallic and transparent vinyls to create this DIY Birthday Gift Bag and Tag!

I also used some of the clip art elements with the print & cut feature on my cutting machine to make tags. Here’s how you can make your own.

DIY Birthday Gift Bag and Tag

DIY Birthday Gift Bag and Tag Supplies:

02 diy custom birthday gift bag gift tag

Open the balloon file in your design software. Since I was using transparent vinyl I didn’t want the balloons to overlap, so I separated them using my design software. Then I only kept the top layers and cut them from the transparent vinyl. I cut the outline from metallic silver vinyl.

Next I created tags by adding the clip art that I wanted to use. I added text to the tags. For the bag embellishment I simply used the print and cut feature with the clip art provided in the bundle.

Silhouette Studio custom gift tags

Use transfer tape to add the balloon vinyl design to the gift bag, and burnish well.

Add vinyl to gift bag

Use foam tape to “pop” the happy birthday message off the bag.

Add some fun ribbon to the gift tag and attach it to the bag.

Now you have a beautiful custom DIY birthday gift bag and tag for gifting!

DIY Unicorn Gift ideas

DIY Unicorn Gift Ideas
DIY Unicorn Gift Ideas

Hi there, it’s Ellen here again. Today I have some DIY Unicorn gift ideas. In my opinion, unicorn birthday parties are seriously so adorable and magical, I’m sure many little girls will agree!

In this post, you will see the “Cute Unicorn SVG”, “Unicorn Face SVG”, “Cute Shooting Star SVG” and “Valentine Sayings Gift Tags SVG” Files featured.

First I made this cute bottle wrap. I started by adding the “Unicorn Face SVG” to Cricut Design Space (you can use SVGs in other cutting software, but this is just the one I used).

Unicorn Birthday Party Favor Idea

After adding the assembled image, I made an outline (offset)  around the SVG design. Next, I attached a rectangle to the outline (the rectangle was measured to fit around the can).

Next, I dressed up a candy wand with a tag. For this, I used one of the “Valentine Sayings Gift Tags” SVG’s and the “Cute Shooting Star” without the face.

The last item was the bag I made using the Cute Unicorn SVG design – perfect to keep everything together. The flower and heart enamel was added to make the unicorn extra special.

Now I can scream “Happy Birthday!”

Honey Bee Favor Box

Honey Bee Favor Box

Ciao amici! I’m buzzing over from Morena’s Corner to share this cute paper crafting project! When I’m making party favors, I save time by using stickers instead of assembling lots of tiny elements. The Honey Bee Collection has lots of adorable elements to choose from, making it perfect for this sweet project!

Honey Bee Favor Box

Honey Bee Favor Box Supplies Used:

I started out by uploading and cutting the small candle gift box. I used a 12 x 12 sheet of yellow cardstock to do this.

Favor Box Prep with Silhouette Studio

Next, I uploaded the various elements from the Honey Bee Collection to Silhouette Studio and started adding the pieces I wanted to the gift box template. This made it easy for me to resize the elements so they would fit my box perfectly.

Print & Cut Silhouette Studio Layout

Once I knew where everything would go, I removed the gift box, changed the work area size, and added the print registration. I rearranged all the design elements to fit on the printable area and duplicated them, so I would have enough stickers for two boxes per sheet. I used the offset tool to outline the shapes so I could cut just around the designs.

Print & Cut Bee Stickers SVG File

When I printed the sticker sheet I added the “bleed” option. This extends the color on the edges of the print so that you don’t have white lines around the image. Then I used the “cut” feature to cut out my stickers.

Honey Bee Favor Gift Box Idea

Now comes the fun! Peel and stick the different cute designs on the box. I followed the instructions to assemble the small gift box, which was very easy to do!

Bee Themed Favor Box

I used a small dollar store candle for the favor boxes. Peel the store label off and add the cute sticker label that you just made!

Bee Party Gift Box

These sweet little favor boxes are so cheery and buzzing with sweetness!

Little is a Lot Princess Crowns Time Capsule

Little is a Lot Princess Crowns Time Capsule

Hello everyone!  Christi here from Scrapping for Tranquility.

Have you ever heard the saying “a little is a lot”?  That is what I have here today.  I knew I wanted to make something for my Granddaughter-by-proxy’s time capsule but wasn’t quite sure what.  I knew I wanted some flowers and a cut file of some kind but I didn’t want them to take over the page.  Here is what I came up with.

Little is a Lot Princess Crowns Time Capsule

I am sorry if it is hard to read, Pictures did not do it justice. It reads: “3-25-23 Miley’s ONE-derful Time Capsule. To be opened on her 18th Birthday 3-25-41”

I used Mirri Pearl White Holographic Cardstock from 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop for the white/silvery letters and Pink Sapphire Mirri Sparkle Glitter Paper for the other letters.  We were looking for a rose gold effect and the Pink Sapphire was very similar.
The words meant more to her mom and me than the decorations but we wanted to convey she was a girly girl princess for her first birthday theme. That is where these AWESOME Princess Crowns come in!  I used the Prince & Princess Crowns SVG files by Printable Cuttable Creatables.

Princess Crown SVG File

I sized the one at the bottom on my Sure Cuts a Lot and Cameo 3 to a 2 1/2″ wide.  It’s a nice size crown.

Princess Crowns SVG File

Then downsizing to a 1 1/2″ I made the second one which isn’t a lot smaller but it sure appears to be.  HAHA.

I added some Cherry Blossom flowers by Jolee’s and called it finished.

Hope you enjoyed my “Little is a lot” project and realize that even the smallest of cut files can really make your project stand out!  So, the next time you are debating on whether or not you should put a piecing on your project, remember my “little is a lot” phrase and you won’t be sorry!

Leave me a message and let me know what you think!

Blessings,

Have a wonderful day!
