Hello friends! This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. This custom button pin is such a fabulous way to celebrate individuality! I combined a FREE SVG file – Stay Weird SVG and tweaked it a little bit with the Alien SVG to create a custom button pin. These pins make great gifts, party favors, etc. They are super easy and fast to create. If you want to see me make this, please pop on over to the Printable Cuttable Creatables YouTube channel to watch my tutorial!

Hello, it’s Ellen here again, with something fun in store. Flock HTV gives your designs a luxurious velvet/fuzzy look and feel. Would you like to try Flock HTV with me for the first time today?
Let’s try it out, with the pretty ‘Feelin Groovy Retro’ SVG Cut File.
Flocked heat transfer vinyl is SO easy to use!
Place the flocked HTV with the shiny/vibrant side down, touching the sticky side of the mat. The dull side should be facing up. You can use a strong grip mat or washi tape to ensure the flock HTV sticks to the mat.
Be sure you mirrored the design while cutting out the pretty PCC design.
Choose the Glitter settings to make Cricut perfectly cut through the flocked HTV.
Check out the HTV brand instructions for bringing the flock onto your surface (in this case, a pocket with a drawstring).
It was much easier than I thought. I can hardly wait to try it on some t-shirts.
I challenge you to give it a try. Have fun!
-Ellen

Hello friends! This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. Oh my, is it already back-to-school season? If you need to make some teacher cards, there are some fabulous new SVGs in the shop! I made this fun card with pattern paper from the Back to School Scrap Kit. It’s such a throwback to grade school when we learned our letters. Love the lettering so much! The fun emoji crayons are from the Happy Crayon SVG. Don’t be fooled by the listing photo though; you get the crayons in multiple different colors. For my sentiment, I just took portions of the Teach Love Inspire SVG (a FREEBIE!) and moved them around to fit my card. I love the flexibility you have when you craft with digitals!

Hello friends! This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. Keychains are so fun to make! The blanks I have are clear 2” acrylic keychains with all the hardware included to complete the project. You could optionally even add a tassel to it as well. The vinyl is very easy to apply. Watch my tutorial video on the PCC YT channel to see how I created the ocean waves to be taller than the original border SVGs that come included. It’s a fun and easy technique that can help you get more use out of your SVGs.

Hello friends! This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. I’m still on a search for the puffiest of puffy vinyls. If you’re looking to make some gifts for the cook in your family, you MUST get the Kitchen SVG Bundle. There are so many fun phrases that are perfect for aprons, kitchen towels or little pouches.
I love the extra texture and dimension of Puff HTV vinyl – particularly when it’s mixed with regular HTV. One thing to note when you are mixing your vinyls is to note the temperature and timing. Also, generally HTV is cool peel but puff HTV is warm peel. I pressed my HTV first but only for half the time. Then for my Puff Vinyl, I trimmed as much of the transfer plastic as possible so it doesn’t overlap with the HTV. That’s not 100% possible, but it helps to reduce lines on your HTV. I press the puff vinyl for the full time to get maximum puff. The trickiest part is warm peeling the puff vinyl without disrupting the regular HTV. It takes a little bit of patience but if any of the vinyl lifts, just press it down by hand. I do a final press for half the time to set all the vinyl with no transfer film – just a teflon sheet cover. That last press is just for a handful of seconds to set everything.

Hello friends! This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. What is something every graduate needs? MONEY! The Cap & Gown Graduation Gift Card Holder SVG is the perfect way to give the graduate in your life a gift card or cash to start their new adventure.
These gift card holders are so easy and fun to make. You can even personalize the tassel and ribbon to match the school colors of your grad. If your cutting machine doesn’t have a scoring blade, here’s a tip – fold the graduation gown in half. You’ll notice one side is larger than the other and has all the glue tabs on it. With a blunt, rounded tool (like a ball stylus), you can trace along the edge of the gown and score the lines for your glue tabs!
Check out this short video to see this handy trick!

Hello friends! This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. Sometimes it’s nice to make yourself a little something. I’m working with puff heat transfer vinyl on a zipper pouch, and used the Be Mine Retro Shadow SVG but conveniently left off the “Be”.
The pastel PUFF Heat Transfer vinyl looks fabulous against black! I’m going to keep one of these and give the other one to my sister-in-law. These little canvas zipper pouches make for great little gifts!
Puff HTV can be tricky to work with. You do want to mirror your design when you go to cut it. Make sure you’re cutting into your vinyl and that the plastic carrier sheet is touching your cutting mat.
You also want to preheat your substrate before you transfer your vinyl. Puff vinyl also needs a very firm press. So you want to use a firm mat under your substrate and adjust your heat press so you can give it firm pressure.
I tried with just a small handheld mini heat press on the pink version and it got very minimal puff.
NOTE: I used the TintNut brand of vinyl because it comes in a multi-pack with so many beautiful colors, but there is a bit of texture on the puff and it’s not a very dimensional puff. I’ve heard great things about Siser brand puff vinyl and I’ll be trying that next!
Happy crafting!

I bought a nice travel set in which you have a passport/ticket holder and a suitcase tag. Before I start cutting I’ll upload everything in a cutting program (I use Cricut Design Space). My colors and even other small changes can be made in that program. I exchanged the flip flops from the original SVG (Life is Better in Flip Flops) with those from the ‘Drink in My Hand Toes in the Sand’ SVG File. Simply because I liked it better to give the flip-flops 2 colors instead of 1.
Before I start cutting, I’ll measure how large the images should be. When I’m happy with the measurements I start cutting. Since this project uses Heat Transfer Vinyl, remember to mirror the design before cutting them out.
Next, we start weeding the heat transfer vinyl. (Weeding vinyl is the process of removing the excess vinyl (negative space) from your design after it has been cut). When that’s done, I start to layer all elements on top. This helps me to see what I need to keep in mind (for example in this project, it was important to place the lands straight from the ‘Cute Globe’ set otherwise the eyes would be wonky too) and I can see which layer to start with.
Next, I start heat transferring by warming up the surface for 2 or 3 sec. For each layer, I pressed for 15 sec at 150°C/302°F. To protect my heat press I use backing paper in between my project and the heat press.
The end results are stunning and look so professional. Quick tip, you can see a small line around the world, if you want to avoid this, make the next layers a little larger. I forgot about the fact that when you put heat transfer vinyl on each other, it can shrink a little bit. I still love my tag, it’s handmade, and If people can see a little mistake I don’t mind so much!
It’s so much fun to personalize the passport cover and luggage tag for this HTV Travel Set. I will also put the name of me and my husband on the back of the passport/ticket holder.
I’m sure even my husband will love the upcoming international trip with these cuties.

Hi there, it’s Dorlene and I’m super excited to share my first Design Team project with you! Summer is here with this fun Hello Summer HTV Tote tutorial. I wanted to give a plain black nylon mesh bag an updo, so I used the Hello Summer T075 SVG and a variety of bright fun HTV colors I had in my stash.
After uploading the image into Cricut Design Space, I noticed that there was an offset to the image.
I didn’t need the white offset since I wanted the bright colors to pop against the black tote bag. Therefore, in order to hide the offset while cutting the HTV, I clicked on the eye next to the portion that I didn’t want to cut. See how the offset does not show on the canvas now? This is exactly what I need for my project.
After you click Make It but before you hit the Continue button, be sure to mirror each mat since this is an Iron On project. This is very important! So important that Cricut will also remind you to do it when your setting dial is on Iron On (aka HTV)!
After all the vinyl pieces were cut, I brought back the offset image to the canvas and hid the rest. The reason why I did this is that I needed Parchment Paper or something similar to place inside the bag because of the mesh surface. I didn’t want the HTV to stick to the back of the bag. Instead of using a square piece of Parchment Paper, I decided to cut the offset with it. This will help with placement of the different color HTV AND gives extra protection.
I tucked the Parchment Paper offset inside the bag
And placed the HTV pieces on the front of the bag using the Parchment Paper offset as a guide. This was a little tricky to keep in place so I used some heat-resistant tape to help hold down some areas.
I hope you can see the Parchment Paper offset in this photo, it was really hard to photograph.
Here’s the final result. I absolutely love how this bright image pops on the black bag and really gave this plain tote a big makeover!
I hope you decide to try something like this on your own. One of my favorite things to do is to make something plain, and beautiful, and what a great way to share our talent and to use it with our family!

Hello, Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Shalon here with an HTV project idea that will up your whole vibe! My oldest daughter has just turned 11! 😳 She is super into the whole groovy, retro style that is on trend right now! So much so that it was the theme of her birthday party!
To help her spread good vibes on her special day, I made her a Whole Vibe Retro HTV Shirt using the It’s a Whole Vibe SVG File.
Her favorite color is yellow, so we used that as the shirt color and then she selected an alternate color for the smile face so it wouldn’t get “lost” in the background of the shirt. Next, we resized the whole file to fit her shirt. The completed mock-up looked like this:
After that, I mirrored the design in my Silhouette Studio software. Then I placed the various parts of my design on three mats to send to be cut.
Using my heat press, I pressed and layered the design starting with the orange offset, then the white text and flowers, and finally the icons and flower centers. For layering multiple colors of HTV, I made sure to tack each layer down with only a 3-5 second press, before adding the next layer to minimize shrinkage. The last layer was pressed for the full 10-15 seconds.
The final result is a Whole Vibe Retro HTV Shirt that the birthday girl was over the moon with!
It was a Whole Vibe!!
Happy Crafting!
Shalon

Hello! Kris here! In today’s video, I will show you how I took inspiration from a t-shirt design online and put my own spin on things using 2 cut files from Printable Cuttable Creatables:
Glitter HTV – I used a small 3 inch by 3 inch left over Cricut glitter vinyl.
Weeding Tool
Teflon Protective Sheet
Cutting Machine – I use the Cricut Maker
Heat press or iron – I use a heat press in this video.
Some important things to remember, when you are layering vinyl, it is key to do quick presses for each layer, and one final longer press at the end.
Also if you are using glitter vinyl – keep it as a single layer. You can not put regular vinyl on top of glitter vinyl, so I try to keep my glitter vinyl as my last layering piece.
I hope that you enjoyed this project as much as I enjoyed creating it and love wearing it! The possibilities for these cut files are truly endless. I’m already dreaming up a cute s’mores card and a s’mores t-shirt!
Thank you for joining me today, I can’t wait to see what you create with these cut files!
– Kris
