DIY Snowy Scrapbook Page

01 DIY Snowy Scrapbook Page

Hello, everyone! It’s Nancy back with my final DT project share!

I haven’t made a 12 x 12 layout for a while, and when I saw these Winter photos on my desk, I was inspired!

There are so many fabulous winter-themed files in the shop! I used two of my favorite and then added a fun title.

Here’s my project:

01 DIY Snowy Scrapbook Page

This was lots of fun to put together.

The photos are some that I took from our yard and on a winter walk.

DIY Snowy Scrapbook Page

The title and photos were adhered in place using foam tape. Once everything was added in place to the page, I went over the title and the snowman with very sparkly glitter glue.

Finally, to finish it all off, I added rhinestones and bling to the snowflakes, and randomly around the page.

I’ve actually used two of these files previously on a card. That shows the great versatility of these files. Head on over to the shop and check out all the fun Winter files!

Isn’t that fun?

These cars have always been near and dear to my heart!

Whether you call them Volkswagens, Beetles, or Bugs; they’re just wonderful!

IMG 5951

My cousin is currently restoring his old Bug.

Maybe my card will give him some ideas for the paint job!? lol

It was so much fun to cut and add all those lovely decorative bits.

IMG 5953

I used foiled paper to give the “chrome” the proper shine.

My black card base measures 5 1/2″ square, with the yellow mat at 5″ square.

I sized everything else to fit into 5″, in Cricut Design Space.

This card was lots of fun to put together.

All the little embellishments are quite small but they cut beautifully!

It was a breeze to put together, using tweezers and a glue pen.

Floral Scrapbook Layout

Floral Scrapbook Layout 1

Hello, friends! It’s Nancy here with a new project.
I have a fun layout, and a couple of tips to share with you today.
I haven’t done a layout in a long time, and this file was so much fun to play with!

I have used:

Nature in Bloom Embellishment Set

Here’s my finished layout:

Floral Scrapbook Layout 1

This file is fabulous, and includes MANY different pieces and layers.

My first tip for you is this: you don’t have to use them ALL.

The purpose of this layout is to feature my flower photos.

That means that the embellishments are second, and can be done more simply.

I opted to use only one fence layer, and I limited the number of flower layers too.

Rather than using the full word title embellishment,

I added only the words across the top of my page.

Embellishment Layering Tips

When I play with flower/grass/leaf cuts, I really like to add dimension to them.

I do this by curling up all the petals and fronds.

You might think that there is no point in doing this on a layout.

Once it’s slipped into a sleeve, everything gets flattened.

My second tip for you today is this: add something to the page that will prevent the flattening.

You can see some of the dimensions on my page in the photo below.

I even curved the gate latch.

Now look at the center of the flowers. I added great big pearls.

Now the plastic sleeve will rest on the pearls, and not flatten all the curled pieces.

Embellishment Layering Tips

Although I used only some of the cuts in this file,

they do a wonderful job of showcasing my flower photos,

Embellishment Layering Tips

I hope that gives you some fun ideas of what to do with this collection!
It contains some intricate design details that can be used over and over again!

Ocean Animals Scrapbook Layout

Ocean Animals Scrapbook IG

Good Morning PCC Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.  I wanted to bring you a project that I can not decide if I am going to leave as a one page layout or make it into a two page layout.  I have plenty of pictures to make it two.  Hence the reason for no title yet.  Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.  Here is my layout:

Ocean Animals Scrapbook IG

I used the files Cute Mermaid Embellishment Set that has a lot of the under the sea items in it.  I wanted to add to it.

This is where I made and added the Cute Jellyfish.

Then deciding to make the Cute Sea Turtle.  I just love everything about this sea turtle!

Ocean Animals Scrapbook Page layout

Using the Ocean Wave Borders I created the ocean with 3 different borders, sizing them to 12 inches wide to fit my cardstock.  I also used 3 different coordinating colors to make it seem like the sun was reflecting off the ocean.

I hope you enjoyed my project this time.  Let me know if you think I should leave it a single layout or make it a double.

Enjoy your summer!

DIY Fur Baby Scrapbook Page

Fur Baby Pet Scrapbook page Idea

Good Morning Printable Cuttable Creatables Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping for Tranquility wanting to bring to you some really fun frames for your fur babies. Kristin did an awesome job on these and I see myself using these over and over.  Here is what I made with them:

Fur Baby Pet Scrapbook page Idea

This is my Doggie Stormy.  We lost him to bone cancer, April of 2022.  He was my companion, my best friend.  I have been wanting to make an album of him so when Creative Memories recently came out with a paw print coverlet, I knew it was time.  It has been hard and not without tears but here is one of the fun ones.

Fur Baby Scrapbook Page

If you notice, these adorable frames have pawprints all the way around the Paw Print Frames.  I took cardstock from 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop in different colors of Encore Textured Cardstock.  Then using my Silhouette Cameo 3 I cut out the frames.  I will tell you to 2X the cut or make your pressure a little harder for I had to punch out every footprint.  My own fault for not thinking ahead.  lol

Fur Baby Scrapbook Page

Next, I was able to cut the shape of my photos by again using my cameo but if you do not have an electric machine and if you have the cutting system from Creative Memories, that is a huge help.

Last but not least I found this beautiful dog saying on the internet that I typed up in Microsoft Word and that is how I received my title from my page.  I made my title out of a font I had in my Sure Cuts a Lot Stash of fonts.

Get Stuffed Thanksgiving Scrapbook Page

Get Stuffed Thanksgiving Scrapbook Page

Hey there, it’s Dorlene and I’m back to share a cute and simple scrapbook layout using the Let’s Get Stuffed T129 cut file.

I love using cute cut files for embellishments and/or titles for my scrapbook layouts and this one was perfect for our Thanksgiving photos.

After cutting each piece out, I inked the top of the cooked turkey to add some dimension.

01 Get Stuffed Thanksgiving Scrapbook Page

Before adhering to each of the layers, I always lay it out first to make sure I have everything in the right place and order. Once I added patterned paper and photos to the scrapbook layout, I added the assembled image to the bottom left side of the layout as shown below.

Thanksgiving Scrapbook Layout

I added some journaling and a few extra embellishments to complete the layout.

Thanksgiving Scrapbook Layout

The layout above is the left side of a two-page spread and here’s a photo of both sides together.  I used the text function in Cricut Design Space to create the title on the right side but I emulated the Let’s Get Stuffed image as far as offsets and colors so everything coordinated and I love how the blue cardstock pieces really make everything pop!

This is a very simple layout but by using the right embellishments, it is so pretty!

There are so many fun cut files in the Printable Cuttable Creatables store. You are likely to find everything you need to create your own embellishments and/or titles for your scrapbooking layouts!

Baseball Season Scrapbook Layout

Baseball Scrapbook Layout

Hello, friends of Printable Cuttable Creatables!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.

With spring here and everyone loving the flowers popping up and the warmer weather, in our household it is T-Ball, Softball, and Baseball Season!  We have four seasons here, Winter, (we call it something else but it isn’t very nice so I won’t repeat it, lol) Baseball Season, Swimming Season, and Football season.  What seasons does your household have?

I made this Baseball Season Scrapbook Layout from the year 2000 when my 29-year-old was in T-ball.  But this Mawmaw still goes to all 6 of her grandchildren’s games!

Larrisa played on the Tigers that year, and their colors were orange and black.  Here is the full layout.

Baseball Season Scrapbook Layout

To decide on my papers, I always try to mimic the colors in the pictures if I can.  I used American Crafts, Black, American Crafts White, Orange paper Frills from Doodle Bug, and a Checkered piece of black and gray I had in my stash.

Baseball Scrapbook Layout

I start off making my paper piecings on my Cameo 3, making sure I have everything I like in the colors I want.  I used the Happy Baseball from Printable Cuttable Creatables.  I just love all of PCC’s Files!  They are just so versatile and so much fun to make!

Baseball Season Scrapbook Layout

Next up was the Jersey.  I loved this!!!!  Kristin (Printable Cuttable Creatables’ creator/owner) made a front and back to this shirt, but you weren’t going to see the back, so I made two copies of the shirt and made the back visible so you could see what it looks like.  I LOVED IT!!!!!

After laying my photos down, Page 2 was now done.

Baseball Scrapbook Layout

I began page one by taking one of the solid baseballs from the Crossed Baseball Bats Free SVG File and made it a larger size on my Cameo 3 to be a background element for my layout.  I then proceeded to the crossed baseball bats and ball.

Baseball Scrapbook Ideas

In this photo, you can see just a small part of the large element I made for the background with the Crossed Bats and Baseball.

Baseball Scrapbook Title

The last piecing I made was titled Let’s Play Ball!  I enlarged this 10X the size it opened in my Cameo.  You can always resize your SVG files to any size you need for your project.  Another reason they are so versatile.

Once my pieces were all made, I proceeded to lay out and tape down my pictures and pieces on page one.

Baseball Season Scrapbook Layout Ideas

I am very happy with the way it all came out.  Here again, is the whole layout:

The files I used from Printable Cuttable Creatables are:

1.     Raglan Baseball Jersey SVG Cut File Set

2.     Happy Baseball

3.     Crossed Baseball Bats and Ball Free

4.     Let’s Play Ball Title

Thanks for joining me today and I will see you next time!  Leave a message and let me know what your thoughts are or if you have any questions I would be happy to help!
