DIY Coasters with Sublimation Markers

01 DIY Sublimation Coasters

01 DIY Sublimation Coasters

Hello friends!  This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. Did you know you can sublimate with your SVG’s?  You can!  Even without a sublimation printer, you can print these fun Nutcracker images on plain copy paper.  Then I use a light box so I can see the printed lines while I color in the image using Artesprix Sublimation Markers. These special markers allow you to draw or color onto regular copy paper. When you apply heat and pressure to the design onto a sublimation blank, like this coaster, you can permanently transform the coaster. This design won’t fade, wash away, or wear out. It is the perfect gift for holiday keepsakes!

DIY Layered Stencil for Sublimation

LVHC PCC April 4

LVHC PCC April 4

Hello friends!  This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. I love that the PCC SVG files come with a version that is separated and assembled. It makes it really easy to create a DIY layered stencil for sublimation. All you need to do is create one stencil for each color of the design. In my tutorial video, I’ll show you a tip for making it easy for you to line up all your layers!

Products used:

To see how I made this, check out the video below:

If you prefer written instructions, follow the steps below:

STEP 1

Scale your design to the size you need
to fit your project. Add 1/4” squares
just outside the size of your project
in each of the four corners.

These will be your registration
boxes for lining up each layer.

STEP 2

Copy the design. From your copy,
decide which color you want to keep
on this layer and delete all the other
elements from the design that are
in a different color.

Select the design elements and all
four registration boxes. Click Attach
so they cut exactly as shown on
your screen.

STEP 3

Repeat Step 2 for each different
color of your design. Each set
should have all four registration
boxes and only the elements
that should be the same color.

STEP 4

Send your project to get cut. I used
mylar for my stencils so it can
be used over and over again.
But you can cut your stencil out of
cardstock if you don’t need it to last.

STEP 5

When you create a sublimation
design, it needs to be mirrored.
So flip your stencil so you are
inking through the back of the stencil.

Be sure to ink through your
4 registration boxes!

STEP 6

As you go to stencil on each layer,
line up the registration boxes. You
don’t need to ink through those boxes

STEP 7

Sublimate the design onto your
blank according to the temperature
and time specified for your blank.

Remember to cover your design
top & bottom with butcher paper
to protect your heating plates.

Happy Campurrr Sublimation Sign

Hi there, it’s Ellen here for today’s blog post. In this post, I will show you a fun idea for a cat teepee tent. I created this Happy Campurrr Sublimation Sign using some pretty illustrations from the “I’d Rather Be Camping” SVG Bundle” and “Peekaboo Cat Face” SVG set.

Happy Campurrr Sublimation Sign

Recently we bought a tent in which the cats can rest in. My husband asked me to make a nameplate for our two cats (Oliver and Bailey).

Of course, I wanted to use kitten faces, so I chose two cats from the “Peekaboo Cat Face” SVG set that look like our kitties. Then I used a few accessories from the I’d Rather Be Camping SVG Bundle as a base for the cat faces to peek out from.

In the middle, I placed the mountains (you can also buy them separately “Mountains” SVG file). Finally, I chose a photo of a starry sky for the background and I wrote a funny text that says “Happy Campurrrs”.

Here’s the finished Happy Campurrr Sublimation Sign hanging over our cat tent!

I hope you are inspired by this post. See you soon!

Happy Thursday everyone! It’s Monica here and I’m super excited to share my first project with you.

Today I’m making a Sublimation Pencil Pouch. On the pouch, you’ll see the “Kindness Rainbow Retro” SVG File.

With back to school already around the corner, what better way to remind our kids to always be KIND friendly, generous, and considerate all the time when having something they use in their daily lives?

This pouch is perfect for crayons, pencils, and even toiletries, and obviously, I had to use this PCC design and my sublimation printer to make it.

Don’t forget to mirror your image when doing this project and use sublimation paper on the best printing settings for better results.

Sublimation Can Coolers

Sublimation Can Coolers

Hi friends, happy Sunday! It’s Ellen here with a sublimation project again. This time I made sublimation can coolers.

On the coolers, you can see the “Retro Mushroom SVG File ” the “Hippie Guitar Retro” SVG File, and some designs from the “I’d Rather Be Camping” SVG Bundle.

Sublimation Can Coolers

I really love camping in summer. When the sun keeps rising it’s nice to use can coolers to cool down with a fresh drink. These can coolers keep your cans and small bottles cool through evaporation. Of course, I had to decorate them using my Cricut and the cute SVGs from PCC.

For the print, I used all different elements and combined them, and printed it out with my sublimation printer. If you’re having a hard time playing with all the elements, you can always use a solid (single-color) SVG file and Infusible Ink for the koozies. It’s important that you ALWAYS cut/print your file mirrored!

Have any questions about making can koozies with your Cricut? Let me know in the comments. I hope you enjoyed this!  Thanks for visiting today!
