Hello everyone, I, Ellen, bring you another lot of fun inspiration for a space birthday party.

I used a lot of fun new SVG files, such as the Spaceship Rocket, Sun, Earth, and Moon, Planets, Alien, Comet, and the free Stay Weird Alien SVG.

DIY Space Party Idea

All the items I’m showing today are made with vinyl (you stick the artwork layer by layer on the objects). Of course, you can also make stickers from the illustrations and use them to decorate everything. If it is a big party, this last method can save a lot of work!

But of course, it’s not a party without a cake topper!

I decorated a badge instead of a crown. The button actually had a smiley, but of course, I could hide the smiley with the globe.

Here, you can see everything together again. I love the end results—they look like magic.
How are you planning to add a little magic to your next birthday party?

Hi, crafty friends. It’s Ellen here sharing today’s project with you.

I want to share two fun ‘back to school’ projects in this blog post, perfect for snacks and drinks. I use the three SVG files (Lookin’ Sharp Pencil, Unicorn Ate My Homework, and the Mermaid Unicorn Face Free SVG File).

In the picture, you see a drinking bag. These are super popular these days. I’m mixing the two unicorn SVGs on the bag here. I think it’s really funny and cute.

First Day of School Chalkboard

First Day of School Chalkboard 1

Good morning Printable Cuttable Creatable Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.  With school starting, I wanted to share my project of the First Day of School Chalk Board.  Here is how mine came out:

First Day of School Chalkboard 1

I used cardboard and painted it with chalkboard paint and then used the file to cut cardstock out all my pieces.

This file is made to be used for Vinyl and I had all intentions of using vinyl but ended up not having enough of a couple colors and wouldn’t be here on time.  That is why I decided to try the cardstock.  I really love the way it came out!

Here is my grandson, Lachlan on his first day, Star sunglasses and all!   He loved his sign and loved giving me the answers to the questions!

First Day of School Chalkboard

I hope you will try this for your kids or grandkids!

Back to School Teacher Card 2

Hello friends!  This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. Oh my, is it already back-to-school season?  If you need to make some teacher cards, there are some fabulous new SVGs in the shop! I made this fun card with pattern paper from the Back to School Scrap Kit. It’s such a throwback to grade school when we learned our letters. Love the lettering so much! The fun emoji crayons are from the Happy Crayon SVG. Don’t be fooled by the listing photo though; you get the crayons in multiple different colors. For my sentiment, I just took portions of the Teach Love Inspire SVG (a FREEBIE!) and moved them around to fit my card.  I love the flexibility you have when you craft with digitals!

HTV Pencil Case Idea

Hi friends, welcome to our blog. It’s Ellen here with a new post for you. Today, I’m showing you a pencil case or a beach bag, especially for summer.

I’m using the new: ‘Sea Coral’ and the ‘Cute Sea Turtle’ SVG File

HTV Pencil Case Idea1

The turtle fits perfectly in the green bag, in my opinion. From that moment, I had the idea of using a pun and looked it up on the Internet. I then finished the scene further with the sea plants.

Once I was happy with how all the artwork was positioned, I cut the artwork out on HTV with my Cricut machine. The last step was to apply everything with a Heat Transfer tool.
This bag is not just for pencils. It’s a versatile accessory for your summer adventures. Whether you’re heading to the beach with your pencils, sunscreen, and money or just out for a casual stroll, this bag is designed to meet your needs!

Get ready to have some fun and craft your stress away this summer! I hope this project not only inspires you to get creative but also helps you relax and enjoy the process of making your own personalized accessories.

Happy crafting,

-Ellen

Mini Book Earrings Tutorial

Book Earrings Supplies:

  • Chipboard
  • Cardstock
  • Silhouette Design Studio

  • Xyron Creative Station with Laminate + Adhesive
  • Tombow Liquid Glue
  • Earring Findings and Jump ring
  • Jewelry Pliers

  • Silhouette Cameo and Design Studio
Earrings tutorial for teachers

Start out in your design studio by creating rectangles for the pages. Mine were 1 inch tall and 1.5 inches wide. Add a scoreline in the middle to make them easier to fold. Make the covers slightly bigger than the pages, and add two score lines and a circle for the earring finding (see image below). Once this is done you can import your graphics to add to the design.

Mini Book Earrings Tutorial

Print and cut the pages and cover from cardstock. Cut just the cover piece from the chipboard.

Mini Book Earrings Tutorial

Use the Laminate + Adhesive cartridge in a Creative Station to protect the book cover while adding adhesive to the back.

Mini Book Earrings Tutorial

Trim the laminated cover and add it to the chipboard cover. Fold on the scored lines.

Bitty Book Earrings Tutorial

Poke through the hole to make it easier to add the jump ring and earring pieces.

Mini Book Earrings Tutorial

Fold the book pages on the scored line. You will need four sheets to make 8 total pages in the book. Glue the page edges together and then glue them inside the book. Let the pages dry.

Mini Book Earrings Tutorial

When you get bored you can doodle in the tiny pages of your earrings! Have fun crafting and creating unique jewelry with cute graphic designs from PCC!!

Coffee Gift Card Holder

Coffee Gift Card Holder

Coffee Gift Card Holder

Hello friends!  This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials.  I love to give gift cards but I like to dress them up a little. I feel like that turns what might be an impersonal gift into a very special one.  Today I’m using papers from the Autumn Harvest Scrap Kit and the amazing Coffee Cup Giftcard Holder SVG File to create a couple of fall-themed gift card holders.

These are fast, easy projects. I printed the pattern papers onto copy paper. Even though it’s thinner than cardstock, it still worked well for the pocket/sleeve. However, for the insert, I cut a 2nd insert from white cardstock. That gives the insert a little bit more weight to support the gift card.
Next time you need to give a gift card, why not dress it up with this fun Coffee Gift Card Holder?

Layering HTV in Cricut Design Space

Layering HTV in Cricut Design Space

Layering HTV in Cricut Design Space

Hello friends!  This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials.  Today I have a tutorial and some quick tips for how to set up your Cricut file to make layering heat transfer vinyl quicker and easier!

You can see my full video tutorial here –

Here are 10 quick & easy steps:

STEP 1
Bring the SVG Separated file into Cricut Design Space.
Scale the image to the size you’d like for your T-shirt.
Ungroup all the individual layers.
kDE4h0yWspoBLgn9PFxxJn4JFbJtK1KA9X4 9OLYORxvuD5kGbYbUWg8y7HMpBM41S6lF1qHvt2yQd6 X3G vvxD5mBfWOVbP9XHmrJ2X
STEP 2
Select the layers that are the same color. For example – The blue arch & the blue “Reading”. Click “Attach”
This locks those layers in their position so they are cut the way you see it as opposed to positioning it to cut more efficiently. It uses up more vinyl, but this makes it easier to position later.
Do this for all layers that are the same color.
LfIt 8d54Ic knw1oyJLRNv6B4lFYddL972dS6JxSkYVcQ4Ui8RAUluqAE4pOiE MAcK3 YPCDrXcGTnPoU8mKA0 hKtNJcq9IzGVbjH9oYtUyv5OUKSphCdp FO2lY5IwMYz Xu4G1FsqWwtmgJg
STEP 3
Send your project to be cut. Make sure you select the correct materials and also mirror each cut layer.

STEP 4
Trim your vinyl down and weed out all the areas around the design.
JCK66ezg
STEP 5
Stack the individual layers to make sure you understand how it should look fully assembled.
J6N1Vv3xvz
STEP 6
Pre-heat your T-shirt by pressing it for 5-10 seconds

TIPS:

  • I fully locked down my heat press on one of the layers and that was a mistake. It left an impression where the edge of the vinyl transfer sheet was.  I recommend just holding the press but not locking down at full pressure until the very end
  • When placing the next layer try to hover the design over your shirt and get it lined up before placing it. Once it touches down, the previous layer might be warm enough to “grab” the vinyl.  That happened on a couple of the book pages.

DIY Sublimation Bookmarks

DIY Sublimation Bookmarks

Hello, it’s Ellen here today with two DIY Sublimation Bookmarks made with the cutest SVGs from Printable Cuttable Creatables!

Here are the designs I used for this project:

Sublimation Bookmarks

In summer I like to go on vacation and read a book. Of course, I want to have my own bookmarks. I layered a few illustrations on top of each other and outlined them to make the text readable and the illustrations stand out in the background.

Sublimation Bookmark Idea

When I was happy with the results I printed the illustrations with a sublimation printer.

DIY Bookmarks Sublimation

With a heat press, I transferred the illustrations on the bookmark (the bookmark needs to be coated especially for sublimation).

I hope you all enjoyed this cute project!

Thanks for stopping by and until next time…..Happy Crafting!!

Inspirational Classroom Decor

Inspirational Classroom Decor

Inspirational Classroom Decor

It’s Kris here and I am finally working on some inspirational classroom decor for my students.  I had fun with this project and I hope that you do too!

I teach math and sometimes math can be hard and frustrating which can lead to negative attitudes in the classroom.  I like the word passion.  Teaching and crafting are 2 passions of mine. So I knew I wanted a quote on the wall with the word passion in there.  So I browsed around looking for a good quote that really resonated with me and my teaching style.

DIY Classroom Decor Idea

I found this quote:  “People with great passion can make the impossible happen” – Author Unknown.  This quote really resonated with me. I’m passionate about teaching and I believe students learn best when their teacher is passionate about teaching.

I found the quote….now let’s head to the Printable Cuttable Creatables site and find some SVG files that we can use to create a fun poster for the classroom.

For this first poster, I used the files:

My original thought was to use foam poster board, but my local shop only had black and I didn’t want a black poster.

Inspirational Classroom Decor

Not all was lost.  My classroom is decorated with some gold and rose gold wire baskets, so when I found this white poster paper with a black and gold border, it was a perfect match for my classroom!

I then wanted a couple of words to pop from the rest, this is where I decided to use gold glitter cardstock along with a cool font called ‘Hello Honey’ – one of my favorites.  The black text is in the font ‘Sitka Small’.

I love the way this poster turned out so much that I wanted to make another one.  This time, I took inspiration from a poster pack that I had saved to my Amazon wish list a while back.  For this poster I used the ruler from the Printable Cuttable Creatables file ‘School Supplies Free SVG Borders’ – it’s a free file and it’s amazing!!  I made the ruler 16 inches long – which is longer than my cutting mat, so I needed to slice the image to be able to cut it on a 12×12 mat.

DIY Inspirational Classroom Decor

The last step I did was laminate the posters so that they could last a few years in my classroom!

I hope that this project brings you an inspiration to take your favorite quotes and use creative ways to display them around your home or classroom!

Thank you so much for joining me today!
