DIY Smart Cookie T-Shirt

Hi there, it’s Dorlene. Now that everyone is back to school in our family, I surprised my granddaughter with this cute DIY smart cookie t-shirt using the One Smart Cookie cut file.

Since Printable Cuttable Creatables’ files include one designed for paper and another one for vinyl, I removed the image I didn’t need from the canvas. Adjust the image to the correct size and make any other customization needed before cutting.

Once you select HTV as your material choice, Cricut gives you a reminder to mirror your images. This has helped me multiple times, folks!

I used five different color HTVs for the image.

Cut, weed, and press to finish the job!

I have to tell you a secret…I didn’t intentionally place the bow on the right side. I placed the “one smart” pieces down first, added the cookie base and then realized I didn’t space correctly for the bow. Shoot!

But thankfully, there was plenty of room on the other side without covering the letters! Sometimes mistakes happen, but luckily, it all worked out!
