How to Make a Santa Christmas Countdown Ornament Laser File – L018

Countdown the days ’til Christmas with this fun DIY Laser Ornament! In this tutorial I’ll show you how to assemble this Santa Christmas Countdown Ornament laser cut file, perfect for handmade gifts, selling in your small business, or hanging from your own Christmas tree!

Finished ornament size is 5 1/8” tall x about 4 1/4” W

This laser file includes SCORE and ENGRAVE elements. SCORE Lines are optional to help with placement of details.
You MUST adjust your machine settings for the correct operation.
File is formatted as follows:
RED = CUT 
BLACK = SCORE 
BLUE = ENGRAVE

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Santa Christmas Countdown Ornament Laser File
• Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint
• 3mm Basswood for Laser Cutting
• Gorilla Glue Wood Glue
• Mini Clamps
• Reverse Tweezers
• Laser machine such as XTool or Glowforge

Assembly Instructions:

Step 1: (Optional) Paint ornament detail pieces as desired.

Step 2: Use adhesive to attach wheel center piece to base piece (use optional score line as a placement guide). Allow to dry fully.

Step 5: Apply adhesive to wheel center and attach front of ornament with window aligned to top of ornament. Be careful not to let adhesive touch the wheel piece.

Your Santa Christmas Countdown Ornament Laser project is complete! Add a ribbon and hang from your tree or gift to someone special!
