Hi everyone, it’s Ellen here again with a super sweet Holiday Hot Cocoa tote bag, using pretty pastels instead of traditional Christmas colors!
Below I wrote a super quick guide to apply Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) using the Hot Cocoa Season Free SVG and Holiday Hot Cocoa SVG files from Printable Cuttable Creatables.
Materials:
- Totebag
- Different colors HTV / iron-on vinyl
- Cutting machine (Cricut, Silhouette)
- A heat press (this tool gives you professional heat transfer result that truly last)
- Weeding tools
Steps:
- Cut the Design: Prepare your design and make sure to mirror the design, and resize it according to the dimensions of your tote bag. Next you cut all the SVG layers from HTV.
- Weed the Vinyl: Remove excess vinyl with weeding tools.
- Apply Heat: Position the design on your tote bag. Press with a heat press (use the manual of your device for the adjustment.
Tip: Pre-press the bag to smooth wrinkles before applying the HTV. - Done!
I love this super adorable, custom Holiday Hot Cocoa HTV tote! It’s a very easy holiday project, perfect for giving as gifts or to have on hand during holiday shopping!
Happy crafting!
-Ellen
