A Whole Vibe Retro HTV Shirt

A Whole Vibe Retro HTV Shirt

Hello, Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Shalon here with an HTV project idea that will up your whole vibe! My oldest daughter has just turned 11! 😳 She is super into the whole groovy, retro style that is on trend right now! So much so that it was the theme of her birthday party!

To help her spread good vibes on her special day, I made her a Whole Vibe Retro HTV Shirt using the It’s a Whole Vibe SVG File

A Whole Vibe Retro HTV Shirt

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • It’s a Whole Vibe SVG File
  • T-Shirt
  • HTV (Assorted Colors – I used Siser Easyweed)
  • Weeding Hook or X-Acto Knife
  • Cutting Mat (optional depending on your machine
  • Heat Press/Iron/Easy Press

Her favorite color is yellow, so we used that as the shirt color and then she selected an alternate color for the smile face so it wouldn’t get “lost” in the background of the shirt. Next, we resized the whole file to fit her shirt. The completed mock-up looked like this:

Retro HTV Shirt Silhouette Studio project

After that, I mirrored the design in my Silhouette Studio software. Then I placed the various parts of my design on three mats to send to be cut.

Using my heat press, I pressed and layered the design starting with the orange offset, then the white text and flowers, and finally the icons and flower centers. For layering multiple colors of HTV, I made sure to tack each layer down with only a 3-5 second press, before adding the next layer to minimize shrinkage. The last layer was pressed for the full 10-15 seconds.

The final result is a Whole Vibe Retro HTV Shirt that the birthday girl was over the moon with!

It was a Whole Vibe!!

DIY Birthday Gift Bag and Tag

DIY Birthday Gift Bag and Tag

Ciao friends! This is Morena from Morena’s Corner! I used the adorable Happy Birthday SVG Files and Clipart Bundle with metallic and transparent vinyls to create this DIY Birthday Gift Bag and Tag!

I also used some of the clip art elements with the print & cut feature on my cutting machine to make tags. Here’s how you can make your own.

DIY Birthday Gift Bag and Tag

DIY Birthday Gift Bag and Tag Supplies:

02 diy custom birthday gift bag gift tag

Open the balloon file in your design software. Since I was using transparent vinyl I didn’t want the balloons to overlap, so I separated them using my design software. Then I only kept the top layers and cut them from the transparent vinyl. I cut the outline from metallic silver vinyl.

03 silhouette studio diy custom gift bag

Next I created tags by adding the clip art that I wanted to use. I added text to the tags. For the bag embellishment I simply used the print and cut feature with the clip art provided in the bundle.

Silhouette Studio custom gift tags

Use transfer tape to add the balloon vinyl design to the gift bag, and burnish well.

Add vinyl to gift bag

Use foam tape to “pop” the happy birthday message off the bag.

Add some fun ribbon to the gift tag and attach it to the bag.

DIY custom gift tag

Now you have a beautiful custom DIY birthday gift bag and tag for gifting!

Tooth Fairy Box

Tooth Fairy Box DIY Project

Ciao friends! This is Morena from Morena’s Corner with a quick project you can make for the little ones in your life. Instead of a tooth fairy pillow, how about a tooth fairy box? This will give kids a safe place to store their lost teeth and tooth fairy money.

Tooth Fairy Box

One of my kids was pretty unnerved by the idea of someone coming into his room and reaching under his pillow while he slept, so we suggested leaving his tooth and pillow at the foot of his bed. This project was inspired by that memory. My kids also liked to leave the tooth fairy notes. With this Tooth Fairy Money Holder SVG, kids can leave notes in the holder, and the fairy can replace it with money!

Tooth Fairy Money Holder Box

To make my box more durable and to give it a little glitter and shine, I put vinyl on my cardstock before I cut it. I used glitter vinyl for the wings and crown, and clear vinyl on white cardstock to make the tooth look shiny and clean.

Tooth Fairy Money Holder Keepsake Box

I cut and assembled a box using cardstock, but you could also repurpose a small jewelry box or gift box for your project. Now kids will have a safe place to keep their baby teeth stored!

Flocked Easter Bunny Treat Box

1 flocked easter bunny treat holder diy

Ciao amici! I’m hopping over from Morena’s Corner to share how I like to put my own twist on this sweet Easter Bunny Treat Box. The SVG file is adorable just the way it is, but a few little additions raise the cuteness level even higher!

Flocked Easter Bunny Treat Box

After cutting out the pieces, I like to add flocking powder to the paper before I assemble the treat box bunny! Flocking powder is tiny fibers that you can glue onto a paper surface to create a fuzzy texture. Adding it to paper cutouts like this cute Easter bunny gives the cute critter a soft, almost plush-like texture.

2 diy easter bunny treat

I like to use my Xyron Creative Station to add flocking to paper projects, like these cards, but you can use other adhesives, too. After the bunny face, ears, hands, feet and body have been flocked with either white or pink powder, assemble the box by following the instructions that come with the file. To finish up this project, I cut green cardstock into grass-like blades and glued them onto the other three sides of the box.

3 flocked easter bunny basket papercraft

I love the way this box turned out, and can’t wait to make several more with different colors and flocking powders. Have fun crafting and creating for Easter!

Joyful Snowman Winter Album

Joyful Snowman Winter Album

Happy New Year, friends! It’s Nancy here with my first post for 2023!

First of all, I’m very excited to be continuing on the PCC DT for another term!
There are so many fabulous files in the shop to play with.
I look forward to sharing more of them with all of you!

Today I am sharing the title page of a Joyful Snowman Winter Album I am starting.
We have several months of Winter here in Saskatchewan,
so there will be lots of creative ways to fill this album.
I am using an 81/2″ x 11″ binder album.

I’ve used this combination of fun files:

Snowflake Circle Frame SVG File;

Happy Snowman Looking Up SVG File

Marshmallow World SVG Die Cut File Scrapbook Title.

Here’s my title page:

wrQ0GRF6KWtCT33YIVPc2FDgzUJMgcAmhPdb71AI9c8l8aGezdPF5tBQQzDJvHkqpr1fgFW6E6ueSbrbpI9M

Isn’t that a fun Wintery scene?

The snowman looks so happy!

I often look just like that when the snow is falling all around me! lol

OHMYsOMZ6 HUqAKn6l9wHRYfAmKIEuH7dguMZqo Rbop2jNOcfiwQB3oqxz q80CkUd3GwkEmFZL8V8SbGQZBLy2Cfix5Aus ueGm7TVakv t6bJAyeTHvtBWkzWoNkSVq GOVwVveQy3SHjLoIFOZ1UHQX8lHLmmDyS2miCLwY u4a HdtU62U XE3USA

I began by arranging the scene in Cricut Design Space.

I knew I wanted this blue to be my background color,

and that I wanted all the cut elements to be white.

So here’s my cutting tip for you today.

There are two optional ways to get the same look.

Since I really like puzzles, and piecing, I did the same cut from white cardstock.

9la3tgEg7Bq4AExfx4 goeXK l0SxbAFGJqVzu3lOQg 8z7BJDCDmloq23roJzsZ1ylV60XXOAeAcmXRPLKRsGLQmIR kAbgE7AbkSTAfT4pc1bT9 Zy5fldI5JilUPwMpvbVsAXX1AOE yTKSPtgh83AIxh XNTL1Brfl 9 pIfcthdrV1HjRqvgKEcsA

I took all the white elements from this cut,

and inlaid them into the blue background piece.

I took care to add all the little pieces from the lettering too.

It was lots of fun to put it all together!

hozLdZwFx2FyTxYjVHqlYi8Az6HXZq1Rvl5PRPBj93lAip Pj83AYp2SOFartexVfP6yQaBC xuWAqjcLc

However, there’s a quicker and easier way to get the same effect.

In the photo below, you can see that I have simply placed the blue background piece

on top of a sheet of white cardstock.

This way it was only a couple of lettering bits that needed to be added.

Do they look different to you?

You have options based on what you enjoy most!

Bgd

I then went on to cut the Happy Snowman  pieces out.

I reversed the snowman so that it fit better with my design.

I scattered the snowflakes around the page and adhered them in place.

Our snow is always glittery and full of beautiful sparkle.

I went over my page and added pretty Stickles to all the snowflakes,

as well as parts of the snowman.

N1 Lhjqq5BX8J Cl KdpTGFZ8nVLoblDC3C2 MC0ZBMKkLNqhfj3FqZj3OvBeeC9QyPIo0eIDZpodS6bVwcITKLlWppdjNpQQzvLNpppwjwwohnWxaGc9BljRhLZcLAUbrELG29J1LyBhKviv8NoR4gwauqSBJM aWKNj3ED1H5fLtB3JCzrhxZqh kJA

Since this is my Winter Album title page,

I wanted “Winter” to be across the bottom.

I really like the font in the Marshmallow World file.

I used that cut in my design but decided to keep the “in the” too.

Now I can fill this album with all the photos and projects made

“in the Winter”!

There are so many great themed cut files in the shop!

 They work beautifully together,

and combine so easily for any creative project!

JOY Christmas Card

1 JOY Christmas Card in Cricut Design Space

Hello, friends! It’s Nancy back to share a fun new JOY Christmas Card project!

I always think of Christmas as a season of JOY!
So when I saw this fun file in the shop, I knew I had to make a card with it.
There are two options for buying this card; on it’s own or part of a kit.

Here are the links:

Joy Christmas SVG Cutting File & Clipart

or

Christmas Treats Craft Bundle – SVG Cut Files and Digital Paper.

Here’s my card:

p5NIS6QVSxqmZ1weoXWZ34DoOaaGjtR5IyyMX3f4qK YpTVFfmGLwReCQEJ7IUXwxjEc Vp4xvgnm11ksTlzwRzMfRxUZUYyYFI mCcWheb6rCbYJtWXNIUqT4p8appUg3SEJVAN12gSd67P7RGfNImoX6UOcS Ot0ErCyheRKCYaXdsKw7GyqTL3lZ0A

Isn’t that a cute and creative card?

I think the pieces would be fantastic all cut out and reassembled,

but I didn’t have the time for that.

So here’s what I did:

O6lELCQjkKN8B2S9 y0Pdov7Qxarcz7GzmhhPcV8ZVda3eBVfo5 Sg4ToaQA8Dzp N7FPXeIoKNVQ7Z6yiB

I actually took some screenshots of the process.

I’ve not done this before but thought I would try it.

Let me know if it helps.

First, I uploaded the clipart I wanted to use.

The file includes each individual “letter”, along with the word art png.

I uploaded the complete word, and sized it at 5 1/2″ wide.

QS9kBtEAwgAIfpXF qUN4MdhcaPHIX8eTAAc9Q5RMLjKeAqKEHnpgvuRIbgRf4NkaQYLm5SP6kDm2EhFjdD3XARP0755sRqQNEHkbEYL9dOdfyFLBfMwuaZtNUgV3o77MX1Ja82QOFG CkaJmGy3t1em sZMHmNnv9ANi6UQn20YreDeyv6aqDsQ6RMZKA

Next, I added a white rectangle to my canvas.

It uploaded with rounded corners, which I really liked.

I knew that I wanted my finished card to be 5″ x 7″,

so I sized the white rectangle at 5 1/2″ wide.

VSEZHQ4CSdy0LoaWUwdUWQQHcOdohH0n4mZRJujCcaMi4SQ7KCDSPpIwiYD6gGS8qGSiD8zeMuWTC4oP06Dhu2gFbJf0gm28wpuZyLmnHLanoa1bj XwV2Z6YB5tq0w DaVQltkDPRh4iVzVk6vXZClmSY2O1YGhd5lrNuL054072VWdEBl mOPPX ZLPw

I sent the white rectangle to the back, and added the word art file on top.

I then resized the word art to 5″ wide.

I then highlighted the whole piece and selected “flatten”.

(Sorry, I don’t have a picture of that.)

Then I selected the “print then cut” option.

iWuJwbFGMiHopGJFXZqVZo8D3Pm7e3irxN CHjr oJ8alBrn1z BKrPyowUAPoeip6Hz1o4t3tP27efAozepPSKMhxh mbhwN4SE7Ph9bj QvkysfFQIQvPLvJ8QrrkPlhm4s4 m9yYtzn14gAT5HqqvGw8H hM2oTouXrkOLsZICrqiWOwFWMsz4oOA1g

I sent the image to my printer, and then added the printed piece to my mat.

Here it is all cut out!

41nIKYhHQqXgRgOhcSVUygn2UEBSK SX7cHxpDv4VSpS VT1rr0ZngbOs9R17cYKSXS5oUf5d4TD2cSLHLP8c5FfWGFNFx430ru6 hHhdN xvdCZRpX684ctEq0 MTHEvPKOgAhxvyqO7utALzqWhxi6zQXQWdcn9gjZssbsz XnIOFXgrotyaysczV0SA

Next, I printed out this fun diagonally striped paper.

It’s part of the Christmas Treats Craft Bundle.

I made a white cardstock card base that measured 5″ x 7″.

I cut the striped paper to fit the front and rounded all the corners.

I inked around the card base and the printed panel, using red ink.

I then added the printed/cut piece to the card base using foam tape.

It’s cute just like that but every Christmas card needs a little sparkle, right?

2BIgOXIVmjpn7 SuXzMYjLdlgrNzTAEpZXFhNK 5JSTYzlvgwk5LHs

To finish things off I added pretty red Stickles Glitter Glue to the wreath and the reindeer nose.

I also added Glossy Accents to the reindeer eyes.

It’s such a fun and festive card…and so much fun to put together!

I hope you give it a try!

Thanks for stopping by today!

I’ll be back soon with another fun project!

Simply Boo-tiful Halloween Scrapbook Layout

Simply Boo-tiful Halloween Scrapbook Layout Idea

Happy, Happy Tuesday Printable Cuttable Creatables.com Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility!  This week I am bringing you a Simply Boo-tiful Halloween Scrapbook Layout featuring my youngest granddaughter’s 9 month Halloween photos. With Halloween right around the corner, I thought this would be perfect to show off some of our awesome Halloween cut files!

X8u7fDdqz188yAZWx2EsatQmiao97xKfnijN3BNpGugH8qy0htXzX69JRp4vpIOVZQHWR5PC1eONg4OB6T2kMUlH494FdGu4Wf18d18Ou7jx8zU7rqoSrectCT4VahHgAOlAwHTCdG23ep38Dbda8opaqbOOZNZSGtj 96T8ezfPihy BPeziSSkww

I was very happy with the layout.  I think I should have made my title a bit bigger but, we all can’t hit it out of the park every time! HAHA!

For the title I used the Simply Beautiful SVG Cut File.  I thought it came out adorable!  Perfect for my pictures!

I’m not usually a fan of cutting my photos in half like this but it just seemed to call for it this time.  I am glad I did it and feel it came out really well.

For the Pumpkins on the layout, I used the file Autumn Harvest SVG Set and used the gourds to make into the same shaped pumpkins in my photos.  I took and made an extra ghost from the Simply Boo-tiful file and stuck him behind the pumpkin to look as though he was peeking around it.

The right side of my layout I used the title Boo-tiful and added Baby Girl to make the subtitle (we call her baby girl a lot of the time).

My Last pumpkin was just like the last from Autumn Harvest, but in purple.

If you notice the journaling spot, I want to tell you how I do this.  I always make a journal spot on my layouts where you can see it or not.  If the pictures has to do with my husband and I doing activities with our grandchildren, then I will journal.  If it doesn’t, I leave it blank so their mothers can fill in the journaling spot for them since they made the memories with them.  This works well for our family.  Just another idea for you to think about!

Let me know what you think, leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
