Halloween is near, and if you want to spread some spooky cheer to your family and friends, making a Halloween card is the perfect idea.
Today, I’m sharing how I created these five adorable DIY Cute Halloween character cards designs: Pumpkin, Frankenstein, Cat, Mummy, and Vampire, using the Halloween Treat Bag SVG Bundle from Printable Cuttable Creatables.
Yes, this SVG file was originally designed for treat bags, but I repurposed the designs for my Halloween cards. They were so easy to customize and a lot of fun to create! All you need to do is upload the design to Cricut Design Space, delete the treat bag layers, then select all the remaining layers and resize them according to your card preference. I resized each SVG to fit my 4.25″ x 5.5″ card base.

Materials and Tools:
- Cricut Maker 3
- Cardstock
- Adhesive
- Distress Oxide Tea Dye
- Blending Sponge
- Paper Trimmer for card base
I manually cut my card bases using a paper trimmer.

For the intricate cuts, I used my Cricut Maker 3. Once all the pieces were cut, I assembled the cards.

For the Mummy card, I used Distress Oxide Tea Dye with a blending sponge to ink the edges of the bandage strips, giving them a worn and spooky look.
