Holiday Hot Cocoa HTV Tote tutorial

Hi everyone, it’s Ellen here again with a super sweet Holiday Hot Cocoa tote bag, using pretty pastels instead of traditional Christmas colors!

Below I wrote a super quick guide to apply Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) using the Hot Cocoa Season Free SVG and Holiday Hot Cocoa SVG files from Printable Cuttable Creatables.

Holiday Hot Cocoa HTV Tote Cricut tutorial 1

Materials:

  • Totebag
  • Different colors HTV / iron-on vinyl
  • Cutting machine (Cricut, Silhouette)
  • A heat press (this tool gives you professional heat transfer result that truly last)
  • Weeding tools

Christmas HTV Tote Cricut craft idea 1

Steps:

  1. Cut the Design: Prepare your design and make sure to mirror the design, and resize it according to the dimensions of your tote bag. Next you cut all the SVG layers from HTV.
  2. Weed the Vinyl: Remove excess vinyl with weeding tools.
  3. Apply Heat: Position the design on your tote bag. Press with a heat press (use the manual of your device for the adjustment.
Tip: Pre-press the bag to smooth wrinkles before applying the HTV.
  4. Done!

DIY Fur Baby Scrapbook Page

Fur Baby Pet Scrapbook page Idea

Good Morning Printable Cuttable Creatables Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping for Tranquility wanting to bring to you some really fun frames for your fur babies. Kristin did an awesome job on these and I see myself using these over and over.  Here is what I made with them:

Fur Baby Pet Scrapbook page Idea

This is my Doggie Stormy.  We lost him to bone cancer, April of 2022.  He was my companion, my best friend.  I have been wanting to make an album of him so when Creative Memories recently came out with a paw print coverlet, I knew it was time.  It has been hard and not without tears but here is one of the fun ones.

Fur Baby Scrapbook Page

If you notice, these adorable frames have pawprints all the way around the Paw Print Frames.  I took cardstock from 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop in different colors of Encore Textured Cardstock.  Then using my Silhouette Cameo 3 I cut out the frames.  I will tell you to 2X the cut or make your pressure a little harder for I had to punch out every footprint.  My own fault for not thinking ahead.  lol

Fur Baby Scrapbook Page

Next, I was able to cut the shape of my photos by again using my cameo but if you do not have an electric machine and if you have the cutting system from Creative Memories, that is a huge help.

Last but not least I found this beautiful dog saying on the internet that I typed up in Microsoft Word and that is how I received my title from my page.  I made my title out of a font I had in my Sure Cuts a Lot Stash of fonts.

DIY Light Up Card

Make a Light Up Card 3

Make a Light Up Card 3

Hello friends!  This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. One of the easiest ways to create a fancy card is to light it up!  One of the things I love about crafting with digis is you can design your entire card front, even color it and then just print it out!  This means you can put your time into making the card a little extra special

Products used:

To see me make this DIY light up card, check out the video below:

If you prefer written instructions, follow the steps below:

STEP 1
Design your card in your favorite photo editing software.  You can even digitally color in your design to save even more time!

Snowy Card

02 Snowy Card

02 Snowy Card

Hello friends!  This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. I hope it’s warmer where you’re at! We’ve had quite a freeze the past week, which is what inspired my card today. I actually used a lot of FREE SVG files (listed below).

Products used:

I started with a background that I spritz with a shimmer spray. That wasn’t enough sparkle though. I cut the Snowflake Background Stencil FREE SVG file out of mylar to create a stencil that I can use over and over again.

If you don’t have mylar, you can always cut your stencil out of cardstock. It just may not hold up after multiple uses. Especially if you use something like the iridescent glitter paste I used. I love the subtle but still sparkly shine it adds to a card!

DIY Snowy Card

The layered Let It Snow SVG Freebie was a fun one to cut and assemble. I threw in some extra snowflakes from the Snow Day Free SVG Cut file as the finishing touch for my card.

Thanks for checking out my project today!
