Make a Sweet Wedding Card

01 Wedding Card

Good Morning PCC Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.

Today I wanted to walk you through making a wedding card with PCC cut files Wedding Groom Tuxedo and Wedding Dress.  I am trying to get stocked up on my cards and with Summer coming it always seems I need wedding cards.  How about you?

Here is how my wedding card came out:

01 Wedding Card

With Printable Cuttable Creatables files, it is so easy to make a quick card.

Make a Sweet Wedding Card

I Started with my base made out of Neenah Solar White from 12 X 12 Cardstock shop.  I cut this at 10 in X 7 In.  I then folded on the 10in side to make a 5 in card.   I used my bone folder to make sure it was good and folded.  Then I turned the fold on the inside.  This is to prevent peeling or cracking on the fold line.

In the meantime I cut my SVG pieces of the tuxedo and wedding dress.  Using no shred glitter cardstock for the top layer of the dress, I really liked how the dress came out.

I then cut a light gray rectangle at 5.75 in. x 6.75 in. to tape down on top of my base. I added one more layer of turquoise cardstock to match the tuxedo and cut a piece at 5.50 in x 6.50 in and taped it on top of the gray cardstock.

Using the Wedding Sentiments Stamp Set by C.C. Designs, I stamped a sentiment on the front and wrapped gray and turquoise ribbon, from my stash, around the card.

Make a Sweet Wedding Card

I stamped this other sentiment on the inside, again from C.C. Designs Wedding Sentiments stamp set,  and I called it done.

Once again, here is my finished card:

Make a Sweet Wedding Card

Hope you enjoyed my tutorial and will join me on my socials.

Blessings,

Christi

Coffee Gift Card Holder

Hello friends!  This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials.  I love to give gift cards but I like to dress them up a little. I feel like that turns what might be an impersonal gift into a very special one.  Today I’m using papers from the Autumn Harvest Scrap Kit and the amazing Coffee Cup Giftcard Holder SVG File to create a couple of fall-themed gift card holders.

These are fast, easy projects. I printed the pattern papers onto copy paper. Even though it’s thinner than cardstock, it still worked well for the pocket/sleeve. However, for the insert, I cut a 2nd insert from white cardstock. That gives the insert a little bit more weight to support the gift card.
Next time you need to give a gift card, why not dress it up with this fun Coffee Gift Card Holder?

Thanks for following along!

Hippie Van Paper Piecing Tutorial

Hello everyone! It’s Mónica from Moni’s Design here and today I’m making a 3D Hippie Van. Here I’m using the “Front Hippie Van Retro SVG File”.  In this Hippie Van Paper Piecing Tutorial, I’ll show you how this fun piece came together.

Hippie Van Party Decor Tutorial

What You’ll Need:

  • Cardstock (I used light pink, cream, holographic silver, yellow, white, and glitter pink)
  • Acetate (I used Pearl Mylar)
  • Adhesive (I used Bearly Art)
  • Foam adhesive (To use between layers for the 3D effect)
  • Scissors (to cut the foam tape)

Using your Cricut or Silhouette, cut your SVG file. Now with all your pieces cut, let’s start. First, grab your base. We’re going to be gluing everything here.

Hippie Van Paper Piecing Tutorial

For every piece you want to be 3D, you’ll need to add Foam Tape. We’re going to start with the front first. I added foam tape and glued it to the base guiding my piece with the base form.

Next, we’ll be gluing the top piece (cream). Make sure you center the pieces.

Hippie Van Paper Piecing Tutorial

Now let’s glue the glitter smiley face to the white circle using our adhesive and then add a foam tape piece and glue it to the top of the van.

60s Van Paper Piecing Tutorial

Here I’m adding a square foam tape to my daisy center and then another foam tape to the back of the daisy to add them as my headlights.

Now let’s add the bumper. I used foam tape, again lol.

Don’t forget about the plate, so let’s glue the acetate to the cream plate and add a foam tape piece to the back, and put it in the bumper.

Now last but not least, let’s add the wheels.

Hippie Van Layered Paper Peicing Tutorial

Now we’re all done!

Hippie Van Paper Piecing Tutorial

I really hope you enjoyed making this as much as I did. You can make this in under 30 minutes and add it to your party decorations or to your craft room!

See you in the next craft!

Easel Shaker Card

Easel Shaker Card

Hi, it’s Dorlene and I’m super excited to work on another project using Printable Cuttable Creatables SVGs. I love this Birthday Hat Cupcake SVG and knew I could make a lot of birthday projects with it.

For this post, I decided to make a fun fold card – an easel shaker card to be exact. I thought this easel design would really showcase this cute cupcake, especially with some shaker bling.

Easel Shaker Card

Cutting & Scoring dimensions are:

Card Base: 4.25 x 11″ scored at 5.5″ and 8.25″

Card Front: 4.25 x 5.5″

Patterned Paper: 4×5.25″

Two Window Sheets (I used a transparency):  4×5.25″

Since I decided this was also going to be a shaker card, I needed a frame to put the shaker bits in. In Design Space, I created the frame by stacking two different-sized rectangles on top of each other – one at 4” x 5.25” and the second at 3.25” x 4.5” – I center-aligned them & then sliced them to make a frame.

Once I was done with the frame, I added the cupcake image to the canvas. I removed the base on the bottom of the image and adjusted the cupcake size to fit inside the frame. You can see that I moved it over to the right of the frame and made sure that it covered a portion of all four sides.

Easel Shaker Card

The cupcake ends up being a little smaller than 3×5″. Add an offset to the cupcake image; move the cupcake image to the side & then select only the frame & offset and weld them together. This will give the cupcake a stronger base to sit on, plus gives it a more polished look with a border.

Once all the pieces are cut, I always place them together before adding adhesive.  Believe me, this is good advice!

Continue to make the card front into a shaker card and once that is complete, add it to the card front.

Easel Shaker Card

When making an easel card, you need to add foam adhesive to the tab on the bottom so it will stop the card front from sliding. I decided to add the birthday greeting on the tab instead of on the card front.

I am so happy with the final result.  This is super cute and perfect for all birthdays.

Another Shaped Bee Card

Another Shaped Bee Card

Hello, friends! It’s Nancy here with a fun new project!

Sadly, this will be my final post as a Design Team member.
I’ve made the tough decision to step down from the team.
I’d like to thank Kristin, and the rest of the DT, for all the fun!

It’s been a fabulous year!

For my final project, I have created another shaped bee card.
If you missed my tutorial on how I make the shaped card base,
you can find it HERE.

Again, I have used:

Honey Bee SVG Collection

Here’s my card:

Another Shaped Bee Card

I began by making my shaped card base.

I then used the same shape to size another layer slightly smaller.

I then combined one of the papers from the collection with the shape.

This gave me the printed layer for the background.

Shaped card cardmaking idea

The wreath element is so pretty!

I used the “print then cut” for that element. I inked all the edges and adhered it in place.

I curled the leaves and wings up, then added some glitter glue for some sparkle.

Although this is a flat piece, it has lots of dimension.

Here is the inside of the card:

Shaped Bee Card Idea

I simply used the “print then cut” option with another fun element,

and adhered it in place.

Another Shaped Bee Card

This is such a fun collection to play with!

It includes a wonderful variety of papers and elements.

The creative possibilities are endless! :o)

DIY Sublimation Bookmarks

DIY Sublimation Bookmarks
DIY Sublimation Bookmarks

Hello, it’s Ellen here today with two DIY Sublimation Bookmarks made with the cutest SVGs from Printable Cuttable Creatables!

Here are the designs I used for this project:

Sublimation Bookmarks

In summer I like to go on vacation and read a book. Of course, I want to have my own bookmarks. I layered a few illustrations on top of each other and outlined them to make the text readable and the illustrations stand out in the background.

Sublimation Bookmark Idea

When I was happy with the results I printed the illustrations with a sublimation printer.

DIY Bookmarks Sublimation

With a heat press, I transferred the illustrations on the bookmark (the bookmark needs to be coated especially for sublimation).

I hope you all enjoyed this cute project!

Thanks for stopping by and until next time…..Happy Crafting!!

How to Make a Shaped Card

How to Make a Shaped Card Cricut Tutorial

Hello, friends! It’s Nancy here with you today!

I’m going to share how I use Printable Cuttable Creatables’ files,
along with Cricut Design Space, how to make a shaped card!

I’ve got lots of photos for you, as I took some screen shots along the way.
I have used:

Honey Bee SVG Collection

Here’s my card:

How to Make a Shaped Card Cricut Tutorial

I think shaped cards are so much fun to make.

I began by choosing my shape…in this case, it was the fun hive.

I imported it into Cricut Design Space, as both a print-then-cut file, and a cut file.

Bee Hive Shaped Card Tutorial

Here I have changed the color of the cut file to the cardstock color I will use.

Since my hive is sized to 5.5″ tall, I sized the shape to 5.75″ tall.

Tutorial on Cardmaking with Cricut

I then move the hive out of the way and duplicate the shape.

One is the front of the card, and the other is the back of the card.

Just in case the shape is not totally symmetrical, I give it a flip.

This ensures that the edges of the card will match perfectly when folded.

Beehive Shaped Cardmaking Tutorial

Individually, each of these files would make a great project.

However, they really work beautifully when all combined on the same page!

Beehive Shaped Cardmaking Tutorial

I then position the shapes so they are just touching at the top,

where I want them to be hinged.

Screen Shot 2023 06 05 at 6.05.03 PM

I then highlight both shapes and click on “Combine”.

You’ll find this in the bottom right corner.

I list of options pop up, and I choose “Weld”.

Beehive Shaped Card Tutorial

…and just like that the pieces are connected.

Simply score the hinge, and you have a really fun-shaped card!

Beehive Shaped Card Tutorial

All the other elements I used were done with the “print then cut” option.

Once they were cut, I inked the edges and adhered them to the card base.

How to Make a Shaped Card Cricut Tutorial

To finish things off, I added some glitter glue to the bee wings,

and a little drop to the antennae.

How to Make a Shaped Card Cricut Tutorial

I then added another printed and cut element to the inside of the card!

How to Make a Beehive Shaped Card Tutorial

It’s so easy to make fun-shaped cards using these simple steps.

Take a look through the shop and see what inspires you to make one!

Have fun!

Tooth Fairy Box

Tooth Fairy Box DIY Project

Ciao friends! This is Morena from Morena’s Corner with a quick project you can make for the little ones in your life. Instead of a tooth fairy pillow, how about a tooth fairy box? This will give kids a safe place to store their lost teeth and tooth fairy money.

Tooth Fairy Box

One of my kids was pretty unnerved by the idea of someone coming into his room and reaching under his pillow while he slept, so we suggested leaving his tooth and pillow at the foot of his bed. This project was inspired by that memory. My kids also liked to leave the tooth fairy notes. With this Tooth Fairy Money Holder SVG, kids can leave notes in the holder, and the fairy can replace it with money!

Tooth Fairy Money Holder Box

To make my box more durable and to give it a little glitter and shine, I put vinyl on my cardstock before I cut it. I used glitter vinyl for the wings and crown, and clear vinyl on white cardstock to make the tooth look shiny and clean.

Tooth Fairy Money Holder Keepsake Box

I cut and assembled a box using cardstock, but you could also repurpose a small jewelry box or gift box for your project. Now kids will have a safe place to keep their baby teeth stored!

Welcome Spring Album

Welcome Spring Album Idea

Hello, everyone! It’s Nancy here with a fun new project share!

I decided it was time to begin a Spring themed 8 x 8 album.
Today I am sharing the title page that I have created for my Welcome Spring album,
using a combination of fun cut files from the shop.

I have used:

Welcome Spring Banner,
(free file)

Birds and Branches SVG Files,

and Pretty Bird House SVG File.

Here’s my project:

Welcome Spring Album Idea

I really had fun putting all these little cut bits together!

In real life, my background paper is light green.

For some reason, it shows more turquoise in my photos,

and the bird and birdhouse are seeming to blend in.

Here’s a closer look at the banner:

Welcome Spring Album Title

Here’s a closer look at the bird on the branch, and the birdhouse:

Welcome Spring Album Embellishments

Aren’t all the little flowers adorable?

They add such a lovely dimension to the page.

Of course, I had to go in and add a little sparkle with the rhinestone centers.

Welcome Spring Album

Individually, each of these files would make a great project.

However, they really work beautifully when all combined on the same page!

Graduation Shaker Card

Graduation Shaker Card

It’s May, and you know what that means……Graduation is coming soon!! Honey Bee Box Card

Honey Bee Box Card

Hi friends, I’m buzzing over from Morena’s Corner to share another fun project that you can make using the Honey Bee SVG Collection! This collection is so cute, and packed with SO many colorful, detailed elements that the hardest part of this project is choosing which designs to include!

Honey Bee Box Card

I used the base pieces from a box card cut file I already had and then added the different honey bee-themed pieces to it in Silhouette Design Studio. Once I had resized and placed all the elements on my screen, I was ready to start cutting!

DIY Bee Themed Box Card

The colorful SVG files make it easy to group elements together by color to make cutting a lot easier. After everything had been cut out, it was time to assemble the card.

Cute Bee Box Card Idea

To save time with the multiple tiny paper elements, like the highlights in the honeycombs, I used transfer tape. The tape made it easy to lift everything off the cut mat easily. I would then add glue to the back of each piece and then place it right where it needed to go. Let the glue set for a few seconds and then lift the transfer tape off carefully.

DIY Bee Lover Gift Idea

I just love all the adorable details in this set! I designed this sweet card box to pair with the Honey Bee Favor Box tutorial. This cute set would make a lovely hostess gift or Mother’s Day gift!
