Beach Scene Layered Card

Hello crafters! It’s summer season in other parts of the world, but it is already rainy season here in the Philippines. And I miss the sun, sea, and sand, so I created this beach scene layered card inspo to reminisce about our beach getaway last summer break.

This card is so easy to make. All SVG files are from the Printable Cuttable Creatables website. I uploaded all the SVG files to Cricut Design Space, designed my 5×5-inch card, and cut the design using my Cricut Maker.

After cutting the design elements, I used my Distress Ink to ink the edges of the sun, waves, sand, and seashells. I didn’t have a light blue cardstock, so I cut the background using white cardstock and used Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass to color the upper part of the background.

I assembled the cut files and glued each piece according to my sample design. I added sentiment using a stamp, white embossing powder, a watermark stamp pad, black cardstock, and a heat gun. I attached the sentiment using foam tape. Lastly, I glued the 5×5 layered paper craft to a 10×5-inch card base.
