Ocean Theme Card Inspo

Hello Everyone! Aarthi here. For today’s project inspiration, I have a super fun ocean theme card inspo for kids and adults alike using Cute Whale SVG Cut File, Cute Starfish SVG File & Clipart,  Sailboat Cuttable SVG File Digital Cut File, and Ship Anchor Free SVG File & Clipart.

Instructions for making with Cricut:

1. Import the SVGs into Cricut Design Space – Use the upload feature.
2. Ungroup the images. For the Anchor, I used the base layer. For the Ship, I removed the flag and the mast. For the Starfish, I used the top layer with the eyes and mouth. I used the Whale as-is.
3. Convert all of these to the Draw function. Since I used my Cricut Joy, I used the Cricut Joy Fine point 0.4 black pen to draw them onto my white cardstock. I then colored them using alcohol ink markers.
4. Write the sentiment onto white cardstock in size 3.75″ × 5″. Use the Attach feature to hold the placement of the sentiment.
5. Cut out squares, color/design them to your liking, and mount the images using foam tape for added dimension.
6. Use the foam tape again to fasten the squares onto the cardstock base with sentiment.
7. Finally, glue this to an A2-sized card base. I used a light blue shaded one.
