Ciao amici, this is Morena with more crafty shenanigans for you to try! I’ve never taken Valentine’s Day seriously, and this project is one example of my silly sense of crafting humor. Even if you don’t share my sense of humor, I hope you can use this idea to personalize your digital papers to create your own unique gifts!
I love to think outside the box and find ways to stretch my craft supplies as much as possible. The box file is designed for beer can glasses, but you can easily adjust the size to make it for smaller or larger items.
Digital papers are awesome because they can be used in so many ways! You don’t need any fancy software or special skills to create your own custom papers for projects like this one. Use the text feature in your design software to add your own words to any digital paper.
Give it a try and start creating your own custom gifts and packaging! I’ve got the complete tutorial on my site if you’re looking for step-by-step instructions. In the meantime, here are the supplies you’ll need if you want to make a project like mine:
Supplies Used for this Project:
- 16oz Beer Can Glass Box SVG File
- Shepherd’s Check Digital Paper Pack & Seamless Patterns
- Kraft Cardstock (12” x 12”)
- White Cardstock (8.5” x 11”)
- Printer
- Silhouette Design Studio
- Cameo Cutting Machine
Have fun crafting and creating personalized digital papers!
– Morena

My sister was asked by her roommate what she wanted for Valentine’s Day. My sister jokingly said a boyfriend. My sister’s roommate brought back from the store a “grow-a-boyfriend”. It was this male figure that when put in water, would grow. No, it didn’t grow to full-size, but it did give them a chuckle.
I love it!!
I liked when Brookfield Zoo in Chicago had a “You can name a roach after your ex” as a promotion for one Valentine’s Day. I don’t know if they still have that. But many thought it was funny. I think that you could buy a roach to name and the money went to charity. I have had a couple of “roaches” in my life, as well as “useless” men. I think it is harmless fun and it made me laugh.
If people don’t like it, they can move on. That is what I do when I don’t like something that doesn’t affect me. No harm, no foul. 🙂
I have a great sense of humor. This is not funny nor is it kind!! Why would you want to denigrate another person?? Can’t you find another way to “think outside the box”?
