Sea Animal Cupcake Toppers

Hello! I’m Michi of @mitchcraftabolic. I am pleased to be part of the Summer-Fall Design Team 2025, and this is my first blog post for Printable Cuttable Creatables.

I’m into paper crafting, so it is a no-brainer to make these sea animal cupcake toppers. For this project, I used the Cute Sea Animals SVG Collection SKU ES055; there are so many designs, and I cut most of them using my Cricut Maker.

Materials and Tools:

• Cricut Maker 
• Cardstocks 
• Adhesive
• Foam Tape 
• Lollipop Stick 
• Washi Tape 

How to Make Sea Animal Cupcake Toppers

1. Upload all the Cute Sea Animals SVG Collection to Cricut Design Space.
2. Check each SVG file and choose the Paper-Friendly Version.
3. Resize the design to your preferred size. My sea animals are between 2.5 to 3.5 inches. For reference, the dolphin is 3.5 inches and the clownfish is 2.5 inches.
4. Duplicate the last layer; this will serve as the back cover, so the lollipop stick will be hidden.
5. Cut the designs.
6. Assemble all the design except for the back cover.
7. Attach the lollipop stick to the back cover using any tape; I used washi tape.
8. Add foam tape and place the layered sea animal paper craft.
9. Repeat the process for the remaining sea animals.

These sea animal cupcake toppers are an easy project that you can do for your Under the Sea or Ocean Adventure party.
