Graduation Shaker Card

It’s May, and you know what that means……Graduation is coming soon!!

Hi Everyone, it’s Kris here.  

Sometimes our crafty visions do not turn out how we planned in our head and that’s okay!  But we are creatives and will find a way to make it work!

I love the different elements that I used to create this graduation shaker card, mixing and matching the Foiling Tool and the Cricut pen.  *A little side note to add here…..whenever you are using the Cricut pens, be extra careful not to get anything…..anything on the ink area.  I accidentally got some of my precision glue on part of the ink and it smudged a little.  Just be careful!*

This was not my original plan, but I love how cute it came out!

For this project, you will need:

• Wise Owl Graduate SVG Cut File & Clipart
• Congrats Grad Scrapbook Title SVG Cut File & Clipart
• Cutting machine
• Cardstock – various colors to match your favorite colors or even your school colors
• Acetate sheet
• Precision glue pen
• Cricut foil tool
• Cricut pen
• Glitter
• 3D foam adhesives 

Please see my previous post for instructions on how to make a shaker card.  If shaker cards intimidate you, I highly encourage you to make one with a simple shape first, like this graduation shaker card with a rectangle. Sometimes adding the 3D foam adhesive to odd shapes can be a bit tricky – but it is really easy with this simple rectangle shape.  

I’ll be using this card for my daughter’s upcoming Kindergarten graduation!

The Congrats Grad Scrapbook Title SVG would also be fantastic for a larger-than-mat project like a lawn sign or photo frame for a big celebration, perhaps graduation from high school or even university!
