Hi there and Happy New Year! It’s Dorlene and I’m here to share a super cute rocking birthday card I made using the Happy Baseball cut file. The only change I made is to change the color scheme of the baseball cap. We’re SF Giants fans so I switched the colors to orange and black.
This fun rocking card is perfect for my nephew’s upcoming birthday. After changing the colors of the cap, I cut all five layers of the baseball and the cap. As always, I placed all the layers together before adding any adhesive. I like to do this so I’m sure of where to place the adhesive and the pieces.

Look how thick this cut file is! The ball itself has four layers and five total if you include the offset layer. I love how the cap is separate so you can include it or not on your final project. Of course I decided to add it!

To make the rocking card base, cut a 5.5” circle and fold it in half. Be sure to crease it well for the card front. The patterned paper was cut at half of a 5” circle. I made mine 5.5” circle since I wanted this to fit in a standard A2 envelope (which holds a 4.25×5.5” card).
In order for the card to fit in the envelope, make sure to place the ball on the card base so it doesn’t go higher than 4.25”.
To complete the card, stamp a fun sentiment and adhere it right under the ball on the front of the card.

I also added some black pen “stitches” to the ball cap. Other than that, it’s a pretty simple but oh so fun card that totally rocks!

The Happy Baseball cut file is perfect for a fun birthday card and I can’t wait to use it for my granddaughter’s baseball scrapbook pages as well! It’s so cute!
