Pumpkin Shaker Card DIY

Hello crafters! Aarthi here. I’m back with a project inspiration in fall theme using the Pretty Autumn Flowers SVG Cutting Files & Clipart.

This SVG file has a variety of options that can be used for paper crafting projects, or with vinyl or even as a Print and Cut option. I made a pumpkin shaker card DIY for my project today.

Supplies used:

• Cricut Maker 3
• fine point blade
• 0.4 fine-point black pen
• Fall color cardstocks
• Acetate
• Gold flat back pearls
• Fall color shaker elements
• Double-sided foam tape, glue
• Jute twine

Instructions:

1. Upload the SVG files to Cricut Design Space (DS). I used only a few elements from the SVG, I deleted the remaining.
2. I chose a pumpkin image from DS and sliced out the body alone from a 4.75″ × 4.75″ square shape.
3. Arrange the elements from the SVG to your liking at the bottom right corner of the sliced image.
4. Add a circle shape and choose pen operation to write a sentiment of your choice. Align the text to the center of the circle and attach it.
5. Cut and assemble all the elements into the square.
6. Turn the card over and glue an acetate sheet. Then add foam tape around the pumpkin to create a shaker space. Fill in your shaker elements and add orange cardstock.
7. Mount this on top of a maroon 5.25″ × 5.25″ cardstock.
8. Glue a few flat-back gold pearls as embellishments and add jute twine to the circle cut to create a tag-like appearance.
