Hey crafty friends! It’s Latoya from Hanging with the Kiddos. If you’re new here, I’m a DIY-loving mom and party printable designer who’s all about making creative projects fun and straightforward—even when life (and my craft room) gets a little messy along the way!
Let’s be real: keeping my craft space organized is always a work in progress. With the new year coming up, I finally decided to tackle my rolling storage cart and give it a much-needed makeover.
I used the Craft Room Labels SVG Files & Printable Stickers from Printable Cuttable Creatables to turn my cart into a functional, easy-to-use creative station.
This project was super beginner-friendly and made a massive difference in how quickly I can find my supplies (and keep my sanity while crafting!).
Supplies I used:
- Craft Room Labels SVG Files & Printable Stickers (Printable Cuttable Creatables)
- Cricut cutting machine (Print Then Cut compatible)
- Cricut Design Space
- Epson EcoTank ET-8550 printer
- Glossy sticker paper or printable vinyl
- Fine-Point Blade
- My rolling craft storage cart

Step 1: Upload & Customize Your Labels

- Open Canva and click “Create a design.”
- Choose custom size: 11 x 8.5 inches (landscape).
I started by uploading the Craft Room Labels SVG into Cricut Design Space. The designs are super cute as-is and come with a ton of pre-designed label options— seriously, there’s something for just about every type of craft room supply you can imagine!
But one of my favorite things about this set is how easy it is to personalize. I needed my labels to match the exact supplies in my cart, so I updated a few to reflect what I actually use.
It was super simple: I just ungrouped the SVG in Cricut Design Space, deleted the original text, added a new text box, and typed in my own wording. That way, every drawer has a label that actually makes sense for my supplies!
Step 2: Group, Resize & Flatten

Once my custom labels were ready, I grouped and resized everything to fit an 8.5” x 11” sheet for Print Then Cut. Don’t forget to flatten your design so Cricut knows to print it as one image and cut around each label!
Step 3: Print & Cut

I printed the labels on glossy vinyl sticker paper using my Epson EcoTank. For cutting, I used the Washi Sheet setting and my StandardGrip mat. The labels cut cleanly and were super easy to peel.

Step 4: Peel & Apply

This part is always so satisfying! I peeled each label off and stuck it right onto its matching drawer. Everything finally had a home, and I felt so much more put together.

More Labels and Sticker SVGS
This little project completely changed how my craft room works for me. Now I can quickly grab exactly what I need—glossy paper, cardstock, sticker labels, or specialty supplies—without interrupting my creative flow.
If your craft space is feeling a little wild, I promise: adding some cute labels is an easy way to refresh your space and make crafting so much more fun. Progress
over perfection, always!
Happy crafting & organizing,
—Latoya
