Hey everybody! Leslie here and thanks for joining me on the blog today! Having small children at home years ago always made Halloween fun, and we even had a yearly tradition of a costume party! We’re all in different states these days so we settle for the occasional card. I used the Let’s Hang Out Bat SVG File which I paired with the Halloween Treats Digital Paper Pack to create this adorable Let’s Hang Out Bat Halloween Card!
1. Prepare Card Elements
Create the focal element using an electronic cutter, the Let’s Hang Out Bat SVG File, and purple, black and white cardstock.
Print desired digital paper from the Halloween Treats Digital Paper Pack. Trim a panel for the front and an embellishing strip for the inside.
Cut card base from heavyweight white cardstock and an inside layering panel from lighter-weight white cardstock. Cut the front and inside layering panels and an embellishing strip from orange cardstock.
2. Adhere Layers
Front panel: Adhere the digital paper panel to the orange cardstock panel. Adhere a strip of patterned washi tape horizontally across the bottom for a little interest. Adhere to the focal element.
Inside panel: Adhere the digital paper and orange cardstock embellishing strips to the white layering panel. Adhere the white panel to the orange cardstock panel.
3. Add Inside Sentiment
Stamp desired sentiment in black ink on the inside panel.
4. Complete the Card
Adhere front and inside panels to the card base. Add green enamel dots to the card front.
Thanks again for stopping by today, and we’ll see you next time!
