Hi there, it’s Dorlene and I have a fun interactive card that I created just in time for Valentine’s Day. I know the traditional colors for V-Day are reds and pinks, but I think this one will work fine with yellows and greens! I mean, there are some pink hearts if that makes it better!
I used the You’re My Main Squeeze cut file because I love lemons and I fell in love with the cute faces! The nice thing about cutting files is that you can change colors and sizes to fit your needs. I stayed with the yellow/green color scheme, but you can always change these lemons to limes and put a different twist on them.
The first thing I always do after I cut all the pieces is to place them in some kind of order.

Then I will layer them as they should be at the final stage. This helps me with placement and where to put the adhesive.

There are a lot of small parts, but nothing I couldn’t handle. The great thing is that the letters are grouped by word. I was so happy about that!
I used a pickup stick to assist me in placing the smaller stars & hearts, but you could adhere to these without it.

Although this is a great tool to have in your stash!
I decided to make a swing card with this image, and here are photos of the movement.Although this is a great tool to have in your stash!

You could write something here as a surprise little note or just stick it to the inside of the card. I’ll probably do both!
I love an easy Interactive Valentine Card Idea, and this one is perfect.

Look how fun the glitter needles are!

Also, look at the little details I added…black & white edging, glitter marker on the stars, and even little rhinestones for the pupils on the lemon on the left. All these little details put some personality into these cute lemons! So cute!
