HTV Flamingo Tote

Hi Everyone, Kris here! 

I can not believe we are near the end of June….which means….here in Canada the school year is wrapping up for both my daughter and I.  We go until June 30th this year, which means I need to get started on year-end gifts for my daughter’s teachers and my co-workers! 

I bought this canvas tote bag from my local Michaels back in 2021 and I’ve been waiting for the perfect SVG file to use on it.  Yes, I had the tote stored away all this time.  

Printable Cuttable Creatables has some cute flamingo SVG files, but this one: Pretty Flamingo SVG File & Clipart really stood out to me, so I decided to make an HTV flamingo tote! I think it was the way the beautiful feathers laid on the flamingo’s back! But really, any of the Printable Cuttable Creatables SVG files would work for this particular project.  

My thoughts were to add the flamingo svg file to the canvas tote and fill the tote with a towel and sunscreen or you could even buy a s’mores making kit and add that in there.  I know I have a few co-workers that would appreciate a s’more making kit! Viola, there you have a cute year-end gift for all of those educators in your child’s life! 

Materials needed for this project: 

• Pretty Flamingo SVG File & Clipart
• Heat transfer vinyl ( I like to use Kassa from Amazon )
• Cutting machine
• Iron or a heat press
• Canvas tote bag

What a cute way to wish a teacher or friend a happy summer!!
