Frightful and Delightful Halloween Slimline Card

Hey everybody! Leslie here and thanks for joining me on the blog today! I have to tell you that it’s been years (literally a lot of years) since I carved a pumpkin and I’m not even sure I could do it now. Creating this tone-on-tone mini slimline card using the Stacked Jack O Lanterns SVG File was just as fun and clearly not as dangerous!

I cut a 3-1/2” x 6” mini slimline card base from heavyweight white cardstock along with an orange die-cut stitched rope panel which I adhered to the card base. Using my Scan N Cut and the Stacked Jack O Lanterns SVG File, I cut the pumpkins from black, orange, and green cardstock, assembled them, and adhered them to the card front with dimensional foam squares. I stamped a Halloween sentiment in black ink, die-cut it, and adhered it to the card front. The finishing touch was adding several tiny black pearls.

For the inside, I die-cut another orange stitched rope panel along with a white cardstock layering panel and adhered them together. I stamped another Halloween sentiment (from the same stamp set) in black ink which completed the card.

Scrappy hugs,
