Hello crafters! I’m back to share another project inspiration that you can create for your autumn celebrations. Whether you’re gifting baked treats or packaging party favors, this adorable fall scarecrow gift tag DIY makes the perfect finishing touch.
This scarecrow gift tag is fun, festive, and beginner-friendly. You can customize it with different patterns and colors. For this fall scarecrow gift tag DIY project, I used the Cute Scarecrow SVG Cut File & Clipart, along with the Autumn Basics Digital Paper Pack.
Supplies and Tools:
- Cricut Maker
- Cardstocks
- Adhesive
- Jute String
Ready to make your own scarecrow gift tag? Follow these easy steps to create a charming fall tag using just a few basic crafting supplies. Let’s get started!
- Upload the SVG files to Cricut Design Space. Since I only used the scarecrow’s head, I deleted the other layers of the design.
- To add a hole, I used the sunflower’s center as a guide and sliced the brown, yellow, and green layers accordingly.
- Resize the design to 3.5 inches in height.
- Duplicate and weld the design to create the backing.
- To customize the hat, I printed my own patterned paper using the Autumn Basics Digital Paper Pack. To maximize the A4 cardstock, I selected six designs from the bundle.
- Cut and assemble the layers one at a time.
- Add the jute string to finish the tag.

And there you have it—my fall scarecrow gift tag DIY! It’s a fun way to bring a little harvest-time cheer to your gifts this season.
