It’s just about February and love is in the air! Janelle here. My goddaughter’s school is having a Valentine’s event of receiving cards from every state and as many countries as possible. It sounds so cute! What better way to use make a card with this cute gnome from Printables by Cuttables.

I decided to make a simple shaker card, despite the challenges I encountered making them!

I found some red foil hearts and small valentines themed glitter and foil pieces. and placed the acetate sheet on top of the adhesive border.

I then cut a frame using glitter cerdstock to hide the foam border for a clean look.

I used white cardstock as my card base and then everything else red theme.

Next, we add the adhesive tape around the front of the card, creating a border that will contain the shaker pieces. Finding the right adhesive to acetate has been a love/hate relationship with my projects. I found this foam tape pack from Bearly Arts and it comes in different heights. This worked great as all the pieces didn’t get stuck to the sticky parts. I think I found my go-to!!!

I found this double sided tape that fit exactly to the red glitter border frame. Happy it precisely fit the frame cutout.

What I did with the gnome SVG was a mix. I cut out the hearts in vinyl. The actual gnome I used the offset SVG and drew on cardstock. My daughter received lots of Copic markers and colored in the gnome.

I attached the offset cutout to the card and viola!

I hope my goddaughter loves her card!

Till next time!
