Hi there! It’s Dorlene, and I’m sharing a couple of cards I made using the Pie cut file. After uploading the image to Design Space, I changed the type of pies to cherry and blueberry pies – it’s really that easy to customize them!

Here’s an easy tip for adding more dimension: I cut the additional shapes using Basic Shapes in Design Space. Once I decided on the size I wanted, I created offsets so I could add more color to the card fronts. The plaid patterned papers are from Lawn Fawn.
Each card is a standard A2 card. The solid colors are 4×5.25. Once that was adhered to the card base, I attached the patterned paper shapes with their offsets. Each pie was attached to a vellum circle.
Here’s a helpful tip for working with vellum: The vellum was hand-punched. Vellum is a little hard to use since you can’t add adhesive to it except where it will be covered (in this case) by the pies. I love using Vellum because it’s so subtle, but it really adds a little something to your project.
Stamped sentiments and white pen highlights complete the cards.

These basic sentiments make these cards great for any occasion. The pies can be changed to any type of pie. What type of pies will you be making?
