Hello! I’m Paula from Paula’s Studio. I’m here with a card that I made for Valentine’s Day.
Supplies used:
- You’re My Main Squeeze SVG
- A2 Card Base
- Cardstock
- Adhesive
- Embellishments (optional)
- Ink and blending brush (optional)

1. Load the SVG file into Silhouette Studio, or other software for your machine.
3. Resize the design to fit in a rectangle of 4×5.25 inches
2. Ungroup the design.
4. Ungroup the layers of the design.
5. I am opting to use the Print & Cut feature for the white background piece. I am keeping the sentiment, stars, and hearts on this layer. Print it out and only cut it around the edge. I am still going to cut the other shapes on this layer but will use the printed ones for placement. I removed a few layer pieces that I didn’t want to use. For the lemons, I used the compound path feature to embed their faces so that they get cut out of the lemons, allowing the layer behind them to be the color of the faces. I also cut an additional grouping of the stars but made them slightly bigger.

6. Cut all pieces in the papers of your choice. I chose glitter for the stars and hearts.

7. Glue the pieces and layers together.
8. Attach to a card panel that is 4×5.25 inches
9. Use an ink pad and blending brush to add some color around the edges

10. Glue the extra stars on the card panel around the design as you desire

11. Glue the card panel onto a 4.25×5.5 inch card base and add an inside sentiment.

I hope you share how you used this file to make a card.
-Paula
