Hello friends! This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. One of the easiest ways to create a fancy card is to light it up! One of the things I love about crafting with digis is you can design your entire card front, even color it and then just print it out! This means you can put your time into making the card a little extra special

If you prefer written instructions, follow the steps below:
STEP 1 Design your card in your favorite photo editing software. You can even digitally color in your design to save even more time!
STEP 2 Print out your design. I recommend printing onto at least 100 LB cover weight cardstock.
STEP 3 Trim your panel down and pick some coordinating solid color cardstock.
STEP 4 Die cut or poke a hole through the candle flames to create an aperture / opening for the light to shine through
STEP 5 Position this panel on your card and put a pencil mark through each aperture to indicate where the light should be installed
STEP 6 Tape your lights to your cardbase, positioning the led light over your pencil marks.
STEP 7 Glue down the battery
STEP 8 Put foam on the card base, avoiding the battery and LED lights
STEP 9 Glue panel down to cardbase, lining up the apertures with where the lights are
STEP 10 Embellish! |
