DIY Kids Travel Activity Kit Vinyl Project Idea

Hello, Hello Crafty Friends! Shalon here for the Printable Cuttable Creatable Design Team with a super cute travel Art & Crayon Box project! I am often on the go with my kiddos and sometimes it is helpful to have some grab-and-go activities to keep my little one entertained (and well-behaved!)

This Art Box is a sturdy and handy way to achieve this! Using the Whole Split Monogram Crayons SVG Cut File & Clipart by Printable Cuttable Creatables I added my daughter’s name with Oracal 651 vinyl and Siser PSV vinyl from Michaels.
Then, I used vinyl scraps, my PicScan Mat, and a combination of the Birthday Confetti SVG Cut Files & Clipart and Birthday Party Hats Free SVG Cut Files & Clipart designs to create the confetti surrounding the split name image.

Just as a little something extra, I added the Happy Crayon SVG File and some leftover confetti from the Art Box to a plastic crayon box from Dollar Tree.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Oracal 651 Vinyl
  • Siser PSV Vinyl
  • Oracal Transfer Tape
  • ArtBin Quick View Carrying Case
  • Jot Crayon Box from Dollar Tree
  • Weeding Tools or Craft Knife
  • Scraper or Old Plastic Gift Cards
  • Parchment Paper (for layering vinyl) (see my tutorial for layering Multicolor Vinyl Designs) 8/4 post

I love the way it all came together and now I have a beautiful, on-the-go crafty container to hold creative supplies for car rides, restaurants, sports practices, and more!

Happy Crafting!
