DIY Holiday Light Box

Hi crafty friends! It’s Ellen Here and I decided to create a Holiday light box using the “Sleigh All Day” SVG File.

What You Will Need:

• A wooden box with open front
• Star Foil / 3D Effect Foil : https://amzn.to/3RzEB1R
• Mini lights / Craft lights / Fairy lights 
• A mini wood drill
• A hot glue gun
• Double sided tape
• Tape
• A Cutting machine that can cut the Sleigh All Day SVG File 
• Vinyl
• Transfer tape

Now onto the tutorial:

1. Drill a hole in the box (or ask your husband like I did). This is a hole through which the lights must go. 

2. Push the lights through the hole and glue the battery holder to the back of the box with your glue gun.

3. I secured the lights inside the box with tape. I also used double sided tape on the edge of the box. The 3D foil is fastened with the double-sided tape.

4. As a final step I applied the vinyl design onto the 3D foil.

The 3D foil ensures that the lights look like stars. It’s super magical for sure, especially with Santa in his sleigh at the top!
