Hi Everyone! Aarthi here. Last Friday was my son’s 7th birthday, and I decided to make him a special DIY Cupcake Card with his favorite chocolate cupcake as an element. I also show you a creative way to use pattern papers in card making.

For this card,  I used ‘Happy Birthday Seamless Patterns & Digital Paper Pack’ and  ‘Birthday Cupcakes SVG Cut Files & Clipart.’

I printed the confetti design from the pattern paper pack and cut it into a scalloped stitched rectangle design. Then, I cut out the cupcake, colored it, glued each layer, and added some polymer clay sprinkles on the top. In addition, added a heart and a number on the cupcake. Then foam mounted the cupcake onto the cut pattern paper, which is then glued to a white cardstock and then onto an A2 blue card base. Used a fine gel pen to write the sentiment on a cut scalloped rectangle shape and foam mounted this as well. This DIY Cupcake Card is done!
