Hi friends! This is Morena from Morena’s Corner with the perfect summer sleepover craft! This DIY coloring pillowcase idea creates coloring book style pillow covers that kids can color in. It makes a great activity, plus it’s a souvenir kids can take home with them.

Supplies Needed:
- White pillowcase (1 per guest)
- Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV)
- Cutting machine (like Cricut or Silhouette)
- Coloring book-style SVG files
- Weeding tool
- Iron or heat press
- Fabric markers
- Pillow Insert

Step-by-Step Instructions:
Pick a Design:
- Choose a simple SVG file with bold, coloring-book-style outlines. I used the Cute Coconut Free SVG File to turn the cat image into a fun summer scene! I also used some of the items from the Tropical Flower Silhouettes Free File to decorate the background.
- Cut Your Vinyl: Use your cutting machine to cut the design from black HTV. Weed out any excess vinyl.
- Apply the Design: Position the vinyl on the pillowcase. Use an iron or heat press to apply according to HTV instructions. Let it cool.
- Color It In: Give kids fabric markers and let them color their designs. Allow time for the ink to set and dry.
- Stuff & Enjoy: Add a Pillow Insert to complete the project. Now they’ve got a cozy, colorful souvenir!

This DIY coloring pillowcase idea is perfect for keeping kids entertained while creating something special they can treasure!
XOXO Morena from Morena’s Corner.
