DIY Baking Christmas Card Inspo

Hello Crafters, Aarthi here! I’m back with a project inspiration using some of the cutest baking essentials SVGs from the Baking Collection SVG Bundle.

One bundle and you are set for making projects for different occasions. I included a Christmas-related sentiment, and this DIY baking Christmas card is ready to be gifted along with your Christmas baked goodies. Here are a few more cute and punny sentiments that I found would go well paired with this SVG bundle:

• “I a-dough you.”
• “All you knead is love.”
• “Doughnut worry, be happy!”
• “Muffin compares to you.”
• “Life is what you bake it.”
• “Sift happens!”
• “I’m on a roll! (Literally).”
• “For you, I’d whisk it all.”
• “You’re a batch made in heaven.”
• “Have a flan-tastic time!”

Supplies used:

• Cricut Maker 3
• Cricut Dual Sided Markers
• White, Red and Beige cardstocks
• Tumbled Glass Distress Ink pad
• Glue, Double-sided tape
• Copic markers, Silver glitter gel pen

Instructions:

1. Upload the SVG files to Cricut Design Space (DS). I used only the selected elements from these SVGs; I deleted the remaining ones.
2. Ungroup the apron SVG and make the pocket a little bigger so that it can hold the spoon, whisk, and the spatula.
3. Use a Black 0.4 fine point pen for ‘baking spirits’ and 1.0 color markers for the ‘BRIGHT’ sentiment. Mix and match the colors to create a visually appealing look. Attach everything to get it written in the same order.
4. Cut the SVGs in white cardstock and color them using Copic/similar markers. Alternatively, use colored/patterned cardstock to cut the elements and assemble them.
5. Blend blue distress ink onto white cardstock and glue the elements onto it.
6. Use double-sided tape to mount the sentiment tag.
7. Mount all these onto a red and then beige cardstock base.
8. Use sa ilver glitter gel pen to add star accents to complete the card.
