Cute Fox Valentine Card

Happy New Year! I’m starting the new year off with this adorable Valentine’s Day card. 

Supplies Used:

• Foxy Love SVG Cut Files & Clipart
• Love Heart Mandala Free SVG File
• Cardstock in your choice of colors
• A2 Card base 4.25×5.5” when folded
• White cardstock for card panel
• Adhesive
• Cutting machine, such as a Cricut machine or Silhouette Cameo
• Clear chunky glitter
• Gold paint for splatter (optional)
• Adhesive foam

Make a Cute Fox Valentine Card

1. Bring the assembled version of the SVG file into your cutting machine software.

2. Create a 4.25×5.5” white card panel on the screen. Duplicate it and set the duplicate aside to cut later. Fill the remaining shape with a color.

3. Duplicate one of the hearts above the foxes and enlarge it to be bigger than the card panel. Position it on top of the card panel on the screen as shown. Select both the heart and the card panel. In the “Object” menu, choose “modify” then “crop.” This should leave the heart with the sides cut off.

4. Import the Love Heart Mandala file into the software. We will only use the “love” in this file. The rest can be deleted.

5. Arrange and resize all shapes on the screen, as you would like the layout of the card to be.

6. Cut all shapes in the desired papers.

7. To add some sparkle to the background of your Cute Fox Valentine Card, smear a clear-drying glue to the exposed areas and sprinkle glitter on the glue, then shake off the excess.

8. Assemble and glue each layer to the card panel. Use adhesive foam to add dimension to the hearts above the foxes.

9. Finish off the card with a little bit of paint splatter.
