Do you celebrate Cinco de Mayo?  Check out this fun & easy way to dress up your favorite Mexican bottled beverage whether it’s a soft drink or a beer.  I used the Lemon and Limes E140 cut file from the Printable Cuttable Creatables site that is perfect for this project.

This cut file comes with lots of colors and assortment of citrus whole, angeled and sliced views. I used the whole lime & lemon images for this as well as one of the lime slices.  You may notice that my lemon does not have any leaves.  I decided to “hide” the base with the leaf for the lemon because I knew it would be hidden under the lime leaf.

This project used multiple shades of green & yellow which gave some great dimension to the cut file and final project.

As always, I lay the pieces together before adding any adhesive.  This avoids any wayward adhesive that may occur when you’re just guessing and saves on clean up.

I used a sand stamp from my stash and Versamark ink (clear ink that gives a tone on tone look) to add some interest to the outside of the lime and lemon.

It’s so subtle, but really adds a lot to them! You can see in the final photo that I also used a green and white marker to add some details to the sliced lime.

The bottle tag was found on Cricut Design Space but you can always punch a circle in a rectangle to get the same look.  The perfect stamped sentiment was added to complete the project.  I love the red tag with the black mat on the sentiment.  It surely gives a festive look.

This will make such a cute little gift or even a cute centerpiece to any fiesta.
