Anti-Valentine Gag Gift Box

Funny Anti Valentine Gag Gift Bag

Ciao amici, this is Morena with more crafty shenanigans for you to try! I’ve never taken Valentine’s Day seriously, and this project is one example of my silly sense of crafting humor. Even if you don’t share my sense of humor, I hope you can use this idea to personalize your digital papers to create your own unique gifts!

Anti-Valentine Gag Gift Box

I love to think outside the box and find ways to stretch my craft supplies as much as possible. The box file is designed for beer can glasses, but you can easily adjust the size to make it for smaller or larger items.

Digital papers are awesome because they can be used in so many ways! You don’t need any fancy software or special skills to create your own custom papers for projects like this one. Use the text feature in your design software to add your own words to any digital paper.

Give it a try and start creating your own custom gifts and packaging! I’ve got the complete tutorial on my site if you’re looking for step-by-step instructions. In the meantime, here are the supplies you’ll need if you want to make a project like mine:

Sweet N Cozy Single Line Valentine Card

Single Line Valentine Card Idea

Hello, friends! It’s Nancy back with a fun new project share.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner.
For those of us here in Saskatchewan, February 14th still holds lots of snow and chilly weather.
When I found this file in the shop, I thought it would make a great Valentine.

I used:

Single Line Marshmallows and Hot Cocoa SVG File

My first attempt with a single-line file didn’t work very well.
I opened a new package of markers for my Cricut and found they were all totally dry.
At PCC the files include SVG and PNG files.
I uploaded this one into Cricut Design Space and had a play.

This is what I came up with:

Single Line Valentine Card Idea

Doesn’t that make a fun Valentine’s card?

This hot cocoa design is also available in the shop as a regular cutting file,

but I wanted to play with the single-line file.

Single Line Valentine Card Idea

I ungrouped everything in Design Space and then played with colors and layers.

I like the combination of pink and black for a Valentine.

I then flattened it and saved it as a print/cut option.

Single Line Valentine Card

I couldn’t really have pink cocoa,

so I colored the cocoa in after it was printed.

I added the printed piece to my black cardstock base using foam tape.

Finally, I added several pink pearls and some Nuvo Drops.

Single Line Valentine Card

Sometimes it’s just fun to have a play in Design Space!

These files have so many options included

and offer such a variety of creative possibilities.

In this context…playing is learning!

That’s always a good thing! :o)

Thanks for stopping by today!

I’ll be back soon with another fun project!

Valentine’s Day HTV Gift Bags

Valentine's Day HTV Gift Bags

Welcome to the Printable Cuttable Creatables blog, it’s Ellen here sharing Valentine’s Day DIY Gift Bags featuring some lovely SVG files from PCC (Cute Lemon & Lime, Cute Strawberry, Cute Autumn Acorns, and the Baby Blocks Capital Alphabet Set).

Valentine Gift Bags Cricut Tutorial

I looked at some funny Valentine’s quotes on google for the images I wanted to use. Then I uploaded all the illustrations to Cricut Design Space. I deleted all the shapes I didn’t need, for example, the squares around the Baby Blocks Capital Alphabet Set

Next, I selected the words “Zest”, “Berry” and “Nuts” and used the ‘align tool’ to align the bottom and space the words evenly (my Cricut Design Space is in Dutch, but I hope the picture still helps you out since the icons are the same).

When I was happy with the end results I let the machine do the work and cut every piece I needed.

Valentines Day HTV Gift Bags

To bring the idea into reality, prepare the supplies a bit too. Here are my tips for heat transfer.

  1. In this case, I used small bags. It is always a good idea to iron your fabrics before applying the HTV. This will keep your HTV from wrinkling, but it’s also handy to center all the artwork on the fabric.
  2. It’s always helpful to use a clothes roller to get rid of all the little bits of dust and hair (definitely a must if you have furry fluffs running around the house).
  3. As a final tip, don’t forget to use baking paper between your work and the heat press. Otherwise, it’s possible your HTV may stick onto your heat press. This is especially useful for illustrations with many layers like here.
Valentines Day HTV Gift Bags

The end results are simply stunning and super cute!!

I bought some heart-shaped cookies that fit in these bags. They will be given away on Valentine’s Day to some family members.

All the files come with more images than you see here on the blog, be sure to check them out, to see which is your favorite.

If you love it as much as I do, then there is a big fruit set too; the “Cute Summer Fruit SVG Files Collection” in the PCC shop. You can see oranges, cherries, melons, bananas,… and a lot more in the set.

I still have a few quotes I love: You are very a-PEELING, I love you CHERRY much, you hold the KIWI to my heart,… I really can keep going here and cannot wait to see what you make!

What is your favorite bag? And which fruit and quote would you like to use? I’m super curious, please let me know below!

Wedding Wine Bag HTV Gift Idea

Hello, Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Shalon back on the Printable Cuttable Creatables Design Team Blog with a little crafty inspo for you! Recently, my family has had some happy news! My brother is getting married! He proposed to his longtime girlfriend and our family is thrilled!

To help them celebrate, I whipped up this Wedding Wine Bag to hold the real gift – a little bubbly! It was super easy to make, using some Siser brand HTV in black and glitter gold.

What You’ll Need:

Flourish Champagne Glasses SVG Cut File & Clipart

Jute Burlap Wine Bag

HTV – Your Choice of Color and Brand (I used Siser brand HTV in black and glitter gold.)

Heat Press, Easy Press, or Household Iron

Parchment Paper or Teflon sheet for pressing

DIY Wedding Wine Bag HTV Gift

First, I measured out the dimensions I wanted my design to fit in. Then, I typed out my chosen phrase and selected my fonts. Finally, I used the Flourish Champagne Glasses SVG Cut File & Clipart to round off the entire design.

HTV Wedding Wine Bag

I have a heat press that I used to press this design, but it would totally work with a Cricut Easy Press or even a regular iron.

Custom wrappings are so easy and fun to whip up, and definitely add that little something extra to your gift! I hope you give something like this a try!

Love Blooms Here Desk Decor

Love Blooms Here Desk Decor

Love Blooms Here Desk Decor

Kris here, and to start my first Design Team project for 2023, I will bring you a sort-of upcycled project.

What do I mean by “sort-of” upcycled?  I’ll tell you!  To start 2023, my husband and I decided to clean and get rid of some unused items in and around our house.  My husband came across a box full of old picture frames with some old photos.  So he started taking the photos out and decided on which frames would stay and which would go.  He came across the 2012 Christmas picture frame and took the photo out.  I was slightly upset because it was dated 2012 and there was a picture of our dogs with Santa.  It wasn’t like I was going to put a fresh 2022 Christmas picture in a frame with the date 2012.

Love Blooms Here Desk Decor Idea

My husband suggested to me that I take the 2012 photo mat out of the frame and use my Cricut to make something else. I thought….what a brilliant idea! I have a Printable Cuttable Creatables project that would work!

For this project, you will need:

I first measured out the size of the photo frame and used the Cricut Foil Tool to add the words “love blooms here”.  Next, the machine cut out the rectangle.  I then cut out the Valentine Hearts Wagon SVG and assembled it.  Then I cut out 2 colors of the Rolled Paper Flower SVG Templates. The red flowers are slightly smaller than the light pink flowers.

Love Blooms Here Desk Decor Project

I added a couple of rhinestones to the center of the wagon wheels and added a couple of butterfly stickers and there you have such cute Valentine’s Day desk decor!

Thank you so much for joining me today!

Tacos Are My Valentine HTV T-shirt

Tacos Are My Valentine HTV T-shirt

Hola amigos! New Design Team member Morena coming at you from sunny San Antonio, Texas. I love shenanigans and bright colors, as you can see with this fun project.

Tacos Are My Valentine T-shirt

Who doesn’t love tacos? The second I saw this fun design in the shop I just knew I HAD to make a shirt with it. I love that the file delivers not just one but THREE layering options. I combined the two HTV options to create a vibrant shirt design with a pop of glitter on the taco element.

Funny Valentine HTV Tshirt

Supplies Used:

  • Tacos Are My Valentine SVG File
  • Pink T-shirt
  • White Heat Transfer Vinyl
  • Red, Green, and Gold Iron on Vinyl
  • Silhouette Cutting Machine
  • Iron or Mini Heat Press Machine

I created a very short video that shows exactly how I made this fun, colorful shirt. Here is a brief overview of the steps shown in the video:

  1. Import the SVG files to the program you use with your cutting machine. I use Silhouette Design Studio, but the files will work with any program you use!
  2. Separate the files by color. I used Option 3 for the white vinyl, and Option 2 just for the glittery taco pieces.
  3. Mirror the images before you cut them from the heat transfer vinyl.
  4. Cut and weed the vinyl.
  5. Plan and layer your vinyl pieces. Use the white vinyl cut as your template and plan what will go behind that and in front of it.
  6. Iron on each layer.

Have fun crafting and creating this adorable Taco Valentine shirt!

Pretty Llama HTV Birthday Banner

Pretty Llama HTV Birthday Banner
Pretty Llama HTV Birthday Banner

Hello everyone!! It’s Ellen here, one of the new design team members. Today is my first blog post here on the website. To celebrate that, I thought it would be fun to show you something festive; a Pretty Llama HTV Birthday Banner.

When I start, I think about a theme and all elements that go with it. My theme started with the llama illustrations, which immediately gave me the idea that I should use cacti and confetti. The flowers are a nice addition, but also fit in with the feminine theme.

So here I’ll be sharing the banner featuring a lot of fun illustrations from Printable Cuttable Creatables (PCC) – Sweet Sunflowers, Potted Cactus Trio, Cute Llama, Spring Flowers Llama, the Cute Autumn Acorns, and Party Time. All these illustrations are just perfect for a celebration.

Pretty Llama HTV Banner Cricut Design Space

The second step is writing the text “Milena is Jarig” (that’s in Dutch “Milena is having her Birthday”). Then I start building the rest of the banner by positioning all elements, normally I start with the bigger elements and go from there. As the last step, I change colors. I like to not use too many different colors, especially to make it look more cohesive.

DIY Llama and Cactus Birthday Banner

On the first flag, you can see one of the cacti. These flowers on top of it were added by using flowers from one of the other illustrations in the cut file (Potted Cactus Trio).

Pretty Llama HTV Birthday Banner

On the next few flags, I added the name and attached elements, like confetti, the llama, and flowers on top of a few letters to make the banner extra cute.

Flower Llama HTV Birthday Banner

It’s good to use some bigger elements on letters that are easy to read like the “I” and smaller ones on other letters. This ensures it’s not too busy to read the whole sentiment on the banner.

Pretty HTV Birthday Banner

When you start to cut things out, it’s important to count how many flags are in your banner. Because of spacing I did put the word “IS” on one flag instead of using two flags. I also used the bow from the “Cute Autumn Acorns” set, on the I.

HTV Cactus Birthday Banner

The last word is “jarig” (which means Birthday in Dutch). On these flags, I made sure some elements were coming back, again to give that cohesive feeling.

Llama HTV Birthday Banner

The elements (confetti, flowers,…) are coming back, but I also make sure for example that all flower illustrations are not next to each other. This ensures it’s spaced out nicely.

Pretty Llama HTV Birthday Banner

The last item on this banner is the cute Llama from the “Cute Llama” SVG File & Clipart.

I hope I have inspired you with my first blog post! This post is made to give you some inspiration on how you can use different images together. I didn’t go into too much detail. If you have any questions feel free to ask (here on the blog, in our Facebook Group, or on Instagram)!

Hello, friends! It’s Nancy here with a fun new project!

Today I have two super cute treat bags.
I’ve used the  Halloween Treat Bag SVG Bundle.
The bundle includes five options, and I’ve made two.

Here they are:

Aren’t they fun?

They measure 3″ x 4″ x 1 1/2″. Good space for holding candy, right?

These are so much fun to put together!

They cut easily from letter-size paper.

I don’t make scary things, so I added the “pretty” with a ribbon and a flower! ;o)

Valentine’s Day Tic Tac Toe Bag Game with Free SVG File!

My 6 year old has been crazy about Tic Tac Toe lately. She draws tic tac toe boards on every square inch of paper she can find and challenges anyone who will play with her to a game (she’s gotten pretty good at it too!). So as a Valentine’s Day gift, I’m making her this cute Valentine’s Tic Tac Toe bag that has been pretty popular in several online crafting groups.

Of course, I had to sweeten it up a bit for Valentine’s Day, so I made the tic tac toe board from little hearts instead of plain lines. Read on to see how I made this DIY Valentine, and how to download the DIY Tic Tac Toe Valentine Free SVG File!

Valentine Tic Tac Toe Free SVG file

Here’s What You’ll Need:

First, open the Tic Tac Toe SVG cut file in your cutting software. Resize the board to fit your drawstring bag with at least 1/8” space around the edge of the bag. My bag is 3” x 5” with an area of 3” x 3 1/4” of usable space beneath the drawstring stitching, so I sized my tic tac toe board to 2.75” wide and it fit perfectly. Cut your board from HTV and weed. Make sure to keep proportions LOCKED when resizing.

Screen Shot 2019 01 23 at 1.30.48 PM

Press the tic tac toe board to your muslin bag according to the instructions for your press, and type of HTV your are using. I used Siser EasyWeed and my Cricut Easy Press at 340 degrees for 30 seconds (with an additional 15 seconds on the back).

Place HTV on bag
Apply HTV with Cricut Easy Press

Now you’re ready to add X’s and O’s to your game pieces. If you’re short on time (or adhesive vinyl), you could even skip this step as long as you have game pieces that are different colors (another reason why I love these adorable red and pink plastic hearts!)

Valentines Tic Tac Toe Bag scatter hearts

In your cutting software, resize the X’s and O’s to fit your game pieces. My plastic scatter hearts are about 0.75” so I made the X’s 0.5” tall and the O’s 0.5” tall. Make sure to keep proportions LOCKED when resizing. You will need 5 X’s and 5 O’s for a single tic tac toe game.

Resize Tic Tac Toe Free SVG

Tip: Use a weeding box around your design to save vinyl and make weeding easier!

Cut your X’s and O’s from adhesive vinyl (651), weed and apply transfer tape. (I made sure these O’s are a breeze to weed!)

Weeding vinyl

Now you can just stick the X’s and O’s on your game pieces. Give a quick burnish (rub) with your fingernail and peel the transfer tape.

Apply vinyl on heart

That’s it! Tuck your game pieces into the muslin pouch and cinch the strings closed. Your Valentine’s Day Tic Tac Toe game is ready for it’s first eager players! This little game came together way faster than I expected, so I went ahead and made one for my niece too!

DIY Valentine Crayon Holders for the Whole Class!

Looking for a fun and unique Valentine for your child to hand out to their classmates? These Valentine Crayon Holder SVG files cut super fast and are so easy to put together! And the best part is, after kids have finished coloring in the fun Valentine’s designs, the card becomes a bookmark they can use to hold their place in a favorite book! I made these last year with my daughter for her Kindergarten class and they were a hit!

You can download the Valentine Crayon Holder SVG Files right here in my shop, but first, read on to see how easy they are to make!

The SVGs open up with cut lines already turned on in Silhouette Studio Designer Edition. Just position 2 on a page, turn on registration marks, and hit Send! With just a few simple steps (instructions included with download), Silhouette Basic Edition, and Cricut Design Space users will also be ready to go!

Important: In Silhouette Studio, once your Print & Cut layout is ready to print, DO NOT move or change any elements in the file! I always make sure to save the file right before I print it, and don’t make any changes to the layout once it has been printed.

A single sheet of letter size cardstock fits 2 crayon holder cards. When printed, only the coloring page image and text will be visible. The cut lines for the card will not print, but don’t worry, your cutting machine will know where to cut! 🙂

I found this 24 pack of Crayola 4-ct. Crayon Boxes on Amazon, which I love because each child gets 4 different colors to use, and it comes with enough to make coloring page Valentines for the whole class!

Once assembled, just tuck into some A1 size envelopes (approx. 3.5″ x 5″) and your little one is ready to hand out Valentines to their classmates!

The kids then get to have some fun coloring in the coloring page design! When they’re finished, they can tear along the center perforation, and it becomes a bookmark!
