Hey there, it’s Dorlene and I’m sharing a fun Beach Double Scrapbook Layout using the Seagull on Pier SVG cut file.
Are you a scrapbooker? Do you create your own embellishments for your layouts? I love using my Cricut and cut files to do just that!
The Seagull on Pier cut file has a multitude of choices you can use on your projects. In fact, all the cut files I have purchased and used from PCC do! You definitely get your money’s worth when purchasing cut files from Printable Cuttable Creatables!
I decided to use the large layered seagull on a post but I also wanted the flying single-layer seagulls to sprinkle around my layout background.
When working with multiple layers on a cut file, the best tip I can give is to lay the pieces out prior to applying adhesive. This helps with placement and helps avoid putting adhesive on the wrong sides. Just so you know, I had to tear layers apart because I didn’t take my own advice. Oops!
Here’s my double page scrapbook layout. I used the large seagull as the main embellishment, single layer seagulls on the background, and for the journaling block.
I had a total of five 4×6 photos for this two page spread. I was able to cut one of the 4×6 photos in half since it was a scenic shot and that helped with getting all these photos on the layout.
Even though this is a beach scrapbooking layout, it wasn’t your flip flops & sandcastle type of spread. The seagulls were just perfect because there are always seagulls at the beach and it added so much to the embellishment cluster on the layouts. As you can see, besides the cut file, I added stickers and lots of stamping to complete the layout.
And the right side:
It was really nice to pull out some stamps for this layout too.
Happy crafting!
