DIY Pet Book Inspo

For today’s project, we were given the freedom to choose our own theme, and of course, I went with a pet-themed project – more specifically, a cat-themed one! Well… because cat!

For this project, I used the adorable Purrr-fect Pals Cat SVG Bundle from Printable Cuttable Creatables. One of the things I love most about this bundle is that it includes a Siamese cat design. Since I have a Siamese cat of my own, choosing this bundle – and that particular image – was an easy decision.

I created something that every pet parent should have: a pet book! I remember buying one for my cat years ago, long before I discovered paper crafting. Now, instead of purchasing one, I get to make it myself, which makes it even more special.

One of the best things about creating your own pet book is the ability to customize everything. You can choose which pages to include, how large you want it to be, the type of binding, the cover design, and even the overall feel of the book. It’s very much like creating your own planner—except this one is dedicated entirely to your furry friend. If you’re looking for Pet Book Inspo, this is such a fun place to start.

For this project, I found a pet book page template online and selected the pages I wanted to keep. After printing the inserts, I designed the cover in Canva using the cat faces from the Purrr-fect Pals Cat SVG Bundle, alternating them with heart elements throughout the design. But of course, I had to make another one for my siamese cat, Lucky with the siamese cat design. To give the cover a little extra shine and durability, I added a holographic photo top before binding everything together with my Mini Cinch.

I absolutely love how this project turned out, and it’s such a fun way to keep important information, memories, and records all in one place for your beloved pet. If you’re a pet lover, this might just be the perfect project for you!
