Hello, friends of Printable Cuttable Creatables! Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.
With spring here and everyone loving the flowers popping up and the warmer weather, in our household it is T-Ball, Softball, and Baseball Season! We have four seasons here, Winter, (we call it something else but it isn’t very nice so I won’t repeat it, lol) Baseball Season, Swimming Season, and Football season. What seasons does your household have?
I made this Baseball Season Scrapbook Layout from the year 2000 when my 29-year-old was in T-ball. But this Mawmaw still goes to all 6 of her grandchildren’s games!
Larrisa played on the Tigers that year, and their colors were orange and black. Here is the full layout.
To decide on my papers, I always try to mimic the colors in the pictures if I can. I used American Crafts, Black, American Crafts White, Orange paper Frills from Doodle Bug, and a Checkered piece of black and gray I had in my stash.
I start off making my paper piecings on my Cameo 3, making sure I have everything I like in the colors I want. I used the Happy Baseball from Printable Cuttable Creatables. I just love all of PCC’s Files! They are just so versatile and so much fun to make!
Next up was the Jersey. I loved this!!!! Kristin (Printable Cuttable Creatables’ creator/owner) made a front and back to this shirt, but you weren’t going to see the back, so I made two copies of the shirt and made the back visible so you could see what it looks like. I LOVED IT!!!!!
After laying my photos down, Page 2 was now done.
I began page one by taking one of the solid baseballs from the Crossed Baseball Bats Free SVG File and made it a larger size on my Cameo 3 to be a background element for my layout. I then proceeded to the crossed baseball bats and ball.
In this photo, you can see just a small part of the large element I made for the background with the Crossed Bats and Baseball.
The last piecing I made was titled Let’s Play Ball! I enlarged this 10X the size it opened in my Cameo. You can always resize your SVG files to any size you need for your project. Another reason they are so versatile.
Once my pieces were all made, I proceeded to lay out and tape down my pictures and pieces on page one.
I am very happy with the way it all came out. Here again, is the whole layout:
The files I used from Printable Cuttable Creatables are:
1. Raglan Baseball Jersey SVG Cut File Set
3. Crossed Baseball Bats and Ball Free
