Floral Birthday Card Inspo

Today I am sharing a beautiful birthday card that can actually be made for a variety of occasions. I added some bling with gold cardstock and iridescent sequins that just makes the card sparkle and shine! This Floral Birthday Card Inspo is a great way to use one corner design in a fresh and elegant way.

Supplies Used:

• Spring Flower Flourish Corner SVG Cut File
• Cardstock in various colors, including gold
• Adhesive
• Sentiment stamp
• Stamping ink
• Gold embossing powder (optional)
• Heat gun (required if embossing)
• Electronic cutting machine
• Sequins or gems
  

Bring the assembled version of the design into your cutting machine’s software. I am using Silhouette Studio.

Draw a rectangle the size of your card. I am using an A2 size, which is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

Resize the design to fit horizontally on the top half of the card. Duplicate the design and rotate it to fill the bottom half of the card.

Remove the rectangle. Ungroup the designs. Cut the pieces in your choice of cardstock.

Cut a background panel in a coordinating color to be 4 x 5.25 inches.

Cut a rectangle out of white cardstock 1.25 x 4 inches.

Stamp the sentiment in the center of the white piece cut in the previous step. Optional: heat emboss the sentiment using gold embossing powder.

Adhere this panel to the center of the color panel and adhere that to the card base.

Assemble and glue the flowers.

Adhere the scrolled pieces to the card, then arrange the flowers as you like on top of the scrolls. You can do this any way you like or follow the original design, but make sure the top and bottom are arranged the same as each other.

Adhere 5 gems or sequins loosely surrounding the sentiment.
