Lava You Valentine Card
Hi there! It’s Mónica from Moni’s Design and today I’m going to show you how to make punny Lava You Valentine’s card.
Let’s get started!
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- “I Lava You” SVG File
- Colored cardstock in white (for card), red, pink, brown and kraft.
- Plotter of your choice.
- Glue, adhesive tape or foam tape.
- Optional: other heart-shaped stickers or embellishments
Instructions:
Cut a 8.50” x 5.75” rectangle from white cardstock and fold it in half to create your card base. Make sure the fold is crisp and smooth.
Then cut your SVG using the red, pink, brown and kraft cardstock. You can adjust the size to fit the card either vertical or horizontal.
Cut out smaller heart shapes or lava drops if you want to cover the whole front part.
Now, let’s glue our volcano together.
If you have foam tape, you can add a piece to the back of your volcano to add dimension and glue to the card.
Add the “I Lava You” cutout on the front of the card.
Apply glue to the back of each heart shape and arrange them above the volcano
Add any optional stickers or embellishments to further decorate the card.
On the inside of the card, write a heartfelt message to your Valentine.
And there you have it! Your “I Lava You” Valentine’s card is ready to be shared with your loved one.
