Hello, friends! It’s Nancy here with a fun Christmas project!
Today I have a sweet little recipe book to share, using a combination of files from the shop.
This would make a really great hostess gift, stocking stuffer, or even a decor piece for your kitchen!
I used these fun files:
Christmas Treats Craft Bundle and Christmas Baking Bundle.
Here’s the front cover:
I decided to use a disc binding on this book. I find it’s really great with allowing recipe cards to be taken out and then put back in place. Binding rings would work the same way.
I cut my front and back covers out of cardstock, and they measure 6 1/4″ x 6. This allows for the disc punch along one side. The inside cardstock pages are slightly smaller than that. I then printed all the patterned paper out on letter-size paper and cut them down to 5 1/2″ square. I adhered them to each side of the cardstock pieces.
After each cardstock page, I inserted a waterfall of recipe cards. These have also been punched for the disc binding. This works really well because you can see the recipe titles in one glance. You can see that I then decorated all the pages and some of the recipe cards.
I’ve pulled out all the recipe cards so that you can see how I decorated the pages. I went into Cricut Design Space and sized everything to fit on my 5 1/2″ pages. Then I used the print/cut option to cut them all out.
Then it was just a matter of having fun putting them all together!
The images are all so much fun! You could also add tabs to the pages and add the recipe category to them.
The papers are all so bright and cheerful!
Here’s the back cover:
Here’s a look at the finished album, including the recipe cards. There is lots of room to add many more cards!
This recipe book was so much fun to make! Since everything is digital, there’s still lots of time for you to make them before Christmas!
Now I just have to fill it up with lots of delicious recipes! :o)
