Hey everybody! Leslie here and thanks for joining me on the blog today! This is definitely the time of year to be thinking about gifts, and I’ve made some more Christmas gift card wallets. These are the smaller ones and feature papers from the Christmas Treats Digital Paper Pack which I chose because of the variety of patterns! I love every one of the patterns in this pack!
1. Prepare Wallet Bases
From 80# cardstock, cut bases at 4-1/4″ x 10″ and score at 3″, 4″ 5″, and 8″ on the long edge. Round the corners on the 2″ section (this is the front flap), then fold as shown.
2. Cut Outside Panels
Print six different patterns from the Christmas Treats Digital Paper Pack on 65# copy paper. From each pattern, cut two panels at 2-3/4″ x 4″ and one at 1-3/4″ x 4″ and adhere as shown.
3. Cut Inside Panels and Add Stamping
Cut two cardstock panels at 2-3/4″ x 4″, two at 3/4″ x 4″ and one at 1-3/4″ x 4″ and adhere as shown.
4. Create Gift Card Pocket
Apply a strong adhesive to the outside edge and sides of the narrow center section and pinch them together to bond. Don’t apply any adhesive to the center-most fold.
Flip the gift card holder over and trim 1/16″ off the center-most fold and then your gift card will slip into the opening. 🙂
5. Adhere Magnets and Decorative Closure
Using a strong adhesive, adhere a round magnet to the inside of the flap, and then adhere punched round circles to the outside for a decorative closure to complete the project.
Thanks again for stopping by today, and we’ll see you next time!
Scrappy hugs,
Leslie
