Sorry as the svg is great and a cute concept, but the mechanism does not work as the scallop is not long enough to reach in there to turn to short and the legs are in the way. . need to modify that part.

Hi Diane, I’m sorry to hear that you had trouble with the rotating wheel. The file was designed with cutouts at the back of the legs specifically to allow clearance for the wheel to rotate. I have carefully tested this file many times and was able to rotate the wheel freely, as is shown in the assembly video.
Please note it’s important to ensure the file cuts at the correct size, as some software may resize files during import, which can affect how the parts fit together. The file should open at 16.56″W x 12.79″H (as noted in the PDF instructions), and the wheel should cut at 3.8″H. If resizing occurred, it could be the cause of the issue.

This is so adorable and it was super easy to make. They are very easy to assemble. I made a few of them. I use the 65 lb Cardstock fir everything, I recommend this for anyone who want to cut with a Cricut machine.

Turned out great. I also made 6 of them I didn’t use the double gear piece and it is fine. I did use glitter paper for the trim and for his mustache and belt buckle. So cute. I recommend using hot glue to the belly-unless you’re better with glue than I am. I messed up and didn’t put the arms on in the right order so just cut a new beard only and fit it over-worked perfectly

This is so CUTE & Super SIMPLE to make! The video instructions were great and very helpful for easy assembly.
I made 6 of these at one time! Used 110# Card Stock for Base and 85# Card stock for red top layer which was very sturdy. I did not use the “skin tone” layer; didn’t think it needed another “full” layer. I just cut a circle out of light pink card stock and glued it onto back of beard piece. I also glued two gear pieces together (110# card stock) for extra strength with brad rotation.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Everything cut out beautifully with Cricut and fit together perfectly!
