DIY Side Folding Easel Card

Hello PCC Fans!  Christi Here from Scrapping For Tranquility.

Here as promised to show you how I make a twisted or side easel card.

The files I used are from Printable Cuttable Creatables:

Here is the birthday or celebration one I made for today.

Taking the piece of cardstock you just cut and score it at 4 1/4 in.pCZJJlTvmroQvJ 93wE9FCBliTtuho4M2yt9b55Mua011gkZCU33C0XzVl270Ir4WuMcby9C vpLxA9iv2DRcsY TIxgQM7i1aSTocROGWn5xkiYVFBM8BDxu dCf0aqVlm3zqzK5KoEJo5a1Tkm1w
Using a pattern paper you want
to cut 2, 4 IN squares.  One for the base
of your card and one for the back top
of your card.  This is the side that will be folding over.
The one on the back of the card needs
to be cut from corner to corner.

You want to score from the top right to
bottom left of the top of the card. you
have now made your fold over for your easel card.

Take your card embellishments, in my case the presents, and pop them up with pop dots and that will hold your easel card up.

Again, here is the finished product:

I really am happy with the way this turned out.  I hope you enjoy it also!

Until Next time,

DIY Cookie Jar Gift Idea

Cookie Jar Gift 1

Cookie Jar Gift 1

Hello, creative friends! It’s Ellen here, and I’m happy to spend another design team term with you!

Today, I have a little post for a cute cookie gift idea. I dressed up a cookie jar with the “One Smart Cookie Girl” SVG File and the “Scalloped Hearts Frames Set” FREE SVG Cut Files.

DIY Cookie Gift Idea

In Belgium, many university students have exams during this period. Of course, they deserve a little encouragement, or you can also see this as a small Valentine’s gift. Nothing is easier than cutting out the layers with your cutting machine and adding them in order on a jar.

At the top, I had to be careful to stick the circle in the middle.
Don’t you think it’s a great gift too?

DIY Valentine Card Box Idea

DIY Valentine Card Box

Ciao friends! I’m peeking in from Morena’s Corner to share a cute and quick ornament idea that you can make using Printable Cuttable Creatables files!

DIY Valentine Card Box

Cactus Valentine Box Supplies Used

  • Cactus Hugs SVG File
  • White Cardboard Sheet
  • xTool (or can use an cutting machine that will engrave/score)
  • Plaid Crafts Watercolor Acrylics
  • Cardboard Box
  • Green Cardstock
  • Xyron Tape Runner

I used my xTool D1 Pro to score the assembled SVG design and to cut the outline

DIY Valentine Card Box

Then I used the watercolor acrylic paints to fill in the cute design. With these paints you can use them as-is for full color, or add water to dilute them and create watercolors. The more water you add, the lighter the color will be.

This would be a fun project for kids to do to make their own Valentine box! Watercolors are supposed to run and muddle, so it takes away the pressure of coloring perfectly in the lines with crayons or markers!

DIY Valentine Card Box

Let the design dry and then remove it from the cardboard sheet. (I goofed with my cut settings so it didn’t cut all the way out, but I just had to trim a little to get the design out.) Save the extra cardboard and hand-cut it into small spikes for the box.

DIY Valentine Card Box

Choose a cardboard box (shoe boxes or pantry packages are perfect) and cut an opening in the top. Cover the box with green cardstock paper.

DIY Valentine Card Box

Glue the cute cactus on the front of the box, and then add all the little cardboard “spikes” around this. You can add the child’s name to the back or sides of this adorable Valentine box!

Happy Crafting!

DIY Crayon Holder Valentine’s Card

Crayon Holder Valentine Games 4

DIY Crayon Holder Valentine’s Card

Hello everyone! Happy 2024! It’s Mónica from Moni’s Design here to show you a quick and easy Valentine’s Day project.

To start, you’re going to need the following materials:

DIY Crayon Holder Valentine's Card

  1. First, you’ll upload the SVG File to Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio.

If you’re using Cricut DS with Print then Cut, you’ll have to ungroup the design, flatten the written and design parts to the crayon holder base (white part) and then attach the dashed lines. Skip this if you’re in Silhouette Studio.

  1. You’ll send the design to your printer on your preferred settings and print.
  2. Fold the crayon holder tabs and add your desired colored crayons to your Valentines Game Coloring Card.
  3. Fold the dashed part. You can add a ribbon to the top if you want.

DIY Crayon Holder Valentine's Card

This Valentine Coloring Card is great, not only because it is a NON SWEET gift, but when they are done painting and playing, you can separate the dashed part and turn it into a BOOKMARK! How cool is that?

DIY Crayon Holder Valentine's Card

I can’t wait to see your creations! Please, if you upload them to Instagram, tag us @monis.design & @printablecuttablecreatable so we can see them!

See you on the next one!

DIY Screen Printed T-Shirt

01 DIY Screen Printed T Shirt

01 DIY Screen Printed T Shirt

Hello friends!  This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. Do you like making custom T-shirts to give as gifts or for family reunions or even to sell?

Screen printing might be something worth trying. There are beginner-friendly supplies and screen printing inks you can use to get started.

The wonderful thing about screen printing is that it dies the fabric permanently. Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) is a plastic that gets adhered to the top of the shirt through heat. It will always have a raised feel to it and with some vinyls can feel stiff. Over time, that vinyl can crack or peel off.

With a DIY Screen Printed T-Shirt, because the fibers of the shirt are dyed, the shirt stays soft and the design is permanent for as long as the t-shirt will last.

DIY Screen Printed T-Shirt

I used the “Love is Love Retro Stack” SVG file but I modified it for my sister-in-law who is a librarian and loves books!  The “I Like Big Books” SVG file is where I grabbed the word “books”. The wonderful thing about SVG files is every element is on its own layer, so you can easily pick and choose the parts you want to customize and create exactly what you need.

To see me make this t-shirt and learn more about screen printing, check out the video below:

If you prefer written instructions, follow the steps below:

STEP 1

Custom Stocking Stuffer Gift Bags

LVHC PCC Dec 21

LVHC PCC Dec 21

Hello friends!  This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. Are you still crafting for the holidays?  Just a few more days until Christmas and I’m still holiday crafting. If you’ve got the time, why wrap your gifts when you can make your own reusable canvas gift bags!  The best part is they’re the perfect size for stocking stuffers and small gifts and they double as storage/dust bags too!

For my stocking stuffer canvas gift bags, I used heat transfer vinyl to add Cute Boy Elf and Cute Girl Elf (SVG files). If you’ve been following my holiday crafting, you may know I’m gifting some Lip Balm that I created little Holders for and this canvas bag is the perfect size for them,  I positioned them so it looks like they are both holding the gift box (which is part of the Cute Boy Elf SVG).

If you’re looking for more Cute Boy and Cute Girl elf projects, check out the keychains I made and shared on the Design Team Blog hopShrink Plastic Keychains

DIY Gingerbread Shaker Ornament

01 DIY Gingerbread Shaker Ornament

Ciao friends! I’m peeking in from Morena’s Corner to share a cute and quick ornament idea that you can make using Printable Cuttable Creatables files!

01 DIY Gingerbread Shaker Ornament

I love this adorable Gingerbread SVG File that comes with a house and two cute gingerbread people! The details on the house and on the tiny cookies are what really make this design stand out!

DIY Gingerbread Shaker Ornament

I cut the base pieces from kraft colored cardstock. Then I cut the details from silver glitter vinyl. I doubled the vinyl cuts so that I could decorate the front and back of each piece, so the ornament looks cute and finished on both sides!

Gingerbread Shaker Ornament

I used a fillable plastic ornament that you can open, so I could place the pieces inside with some fake snow and Christmas glitter. This was a quick project that turns out oh-so-sweet! I hope you’ll give it a try!

01 Christmas New Year Gift Ideas IG4

Hello, it’s Ellen taking over the PPC blog today.  If you’re still looking for some last minute Christmas and New Year gift or decoration ideas, then you are in the right place. I have some great ideas for you.

For this blog post I’m using “It’s Beginning to Taste a Lot Like Christmas”, “Life is Short Lick the Spoon”, “Kiss Me at Midnight” and “Happy New Year (free)” SVG File .

What I like to do is use an oven mitt to decorate the kitchen.

DIY Christmas New Year Gift Ideas

They are also cute to put some gifts in if you have a baker in the family.

If you use the oven mitt as a gift, it’s also fun to fill it with a decorative spoon.

Let’s move on to the New Year idea’s. I found this pretty shaker glass/mug in a dollar store. I was Immediately sold!

What could be better that a New Year’s wish on the mug? You can fill the mug with snacks or even a gift card. I’m sure it will be a success anyway.

Sometimes you can also buy cute soaps during celebrations. That’s how I found these soap stars/Christmas ornaments.

These small, cute gadgets are really great as gifts for your colleague’s. They can even replace a card.
