Back to School Teacher Card 2

Hello friends!  This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. Oh my, is it already back-to-school season?  If you need to make some teacher cards, there are some fabulous new SVGs in the shop! I made this fun card with pattern paper from the Back to School Scrap Kit. It’s such a throwback to grade school when we learned our letters. Love the lettering so much! The fun emoji crayons are from the Happy Crayon SVG. Don’t be fooled by the listing photo though; you get the crayons in multiple different colors. For my sentiment, I just took portions of the Teach Love Inspire SVG (a FREEBIE!) and moved them around to fit my card.  I love the flexibility you have when you craft with digitals!

Ocean Animals Scrapbook IG

Good Morning PCC Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.  I wanted to bring you a project that I can not decide if I am going to leave as a one page layout or make it into a two page layout.  I have plenty of pictures to make it two.  Hence the reason for no title yet.  Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.  Here is my layout:

Ocean Animals Scrapbook IG

I used the files Cute Mermaid Embellishment Set that has a lot of the under the sea items in it.  I wanted to add to it.

Jelly Fish Scrapbook Page layout

This is where I made and added the Cute Jellyfish.

Ocean Animals Scrapbook

Then deciding to make the Cute Sea Turtle.  I just love everything about this sea turtle!

Ocean Animals Scrapbook Page layout

Using the Ocean Wave Borders I created the ocean with 3 different borders, sizing them to 12 inches wide to fit my cardstock.  I also used 3 different coordinating colors to make it seem like the sun was reflecting off the ocean.

I hope you enjoyed my project this time.  Let me know if you think I should leave it a single layout or make it a double.

Enjoy your summer!

Fun Summer Card Idea

Fun Summer Card Idea

It’s Nancy here with a fun summer card idea. This is a really fun one to make!
I have used the following files:

Rolling Waves Background Stencil SVG File, and Seagull on Pier SVG Cutting File and Clipart.

Here’s my project:

Fun Summer Card Idea

I began by resizing the stencil cut to 5”, to fit my 5 1/2″ square card base.

This is a wonderful file for making an actual stencil with ink or sprays.

However, I chose to use mine as a background.

Fun Summer Card Idea

I then cut out the pieces for the seagull on the pier file option.

There are so many fun options with this cute SVG file!

Fun Summer Card Idea

The pier post itself has a bottom and top layer.

I cut 3 bottom layers to add some extra dimension to my post.

The file includes two layered cuts for some rope around the post.

Instead, I tied some string on my post. It adds some nice texture and dimension!

I adhered my post in place on my card front.

After assembling the seagull, I adhered him in position using foam tape.

Fun Summer Card Idea

I always have a little chuckle over birds on posts!

Whether it’s in the middle of the ocean, on a lake, or even in the middle of our river;

if something is poking out of the water, there is always a bird resting on the top of it!

That was my inspiration for this card! :o)

Hello friends!  This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. Keychains are so fun to make! The blanks I have are clear 2” acrylic keychains with all the hardware included to complete the project.  You could optionally even add a tassel to it as well.  The vinyl is very easy to apply.  Watch my tutorial video on the PCC YT channel to see how I created the ocean waves to be taller than the original border SVGs that come included.  It’s a fun and easy technique that can help you get more use out of your SVGs.

HTV Pencil Case Idea

HTV Summer Pouch idea

HTV Pencil Case Idea

Hi friends, welcome to our blog. It’s Ellen here with a new post for you. Today, I’m showing you a pencil case or a beach bag, especially for summer.

I’m using the new: ‘Sea Coral’ and the ‘Cute Sea Turtle’ SVG File

HTV Pencil Case Idea1

The turtle fits perfectly in the green bag, in my opinion. From that moment, I had the idea of using a pun and looked it up on the Internet. I then finished the scene further with the sea plants.

Once I was happy with how all the artwork was positioned, I cut the artwork out on HTV with my Cricut machine. The last step was to apply everything with a Heat Transfer tool.
This bag is not just for pencils. It’s a versatile accessory for your summer adventures. Whether you’re heading to the beach with your pencils, sunscreen, and money or just out for a casual stroll, this bag is designed to meet your needs!

Get ready to have some fun and craft your stress away this summer! I hope this project not only inspires you to get creative but also helps you relax and enjoy the process of making your own personalized accessories.

Happy crafting,

-Ellen

Summer Reading List Book Idea

Summer Reading List Book

The project I’m sharing today would be a great one to involve the kids.
In my opinion, every kid should be working on a fun summer reading list!
I need a new reading list book, as my last one is all filled up.

This file from PCC is just what I needed to make a new one.

I’ve used: Booked for the Summer

Here’s my finished book:

Another Shaped Bee Card

I went through my stash of small journals and found this one. It measures 5″ x 7″, has lined pages, and some tabbed dividers This will work perfectly for listing books in various categories You could find some great book options at any dollar store.

Let the kids pick out their own.

Summer Reading List Book idea 3

The first thing I did was upload the file at Cricut Design Space. I chose the “Print Then Cut” option. My book was 5″ wide, so I resized the image to 4″ wide.

Summer Reading List Book idea

I printed and then cut the image out, using my Cricut Explore Air. Since my book cover was plain chipboard, I chose a matching pink cardstock to cover it.

  Summer Reading List Book

I inked around the edges of the chipboard cover, using yellow ink. Then I adhered the pink cardstock in place, before adhering the image to the cover.

  Summer Reading List Book

Then I headed back to Cricut Design Space and used the “Cut” file. Again, I sized the file to 4″ wide, before cutting 2 blue and 2 gold.

  Summer Reading List Book

I didn’t use the entire cut file. I pulled out the elements that I wanted. The kids would enjoy doing this too. They could choose their colours, and then pull out their favorite elements.

The following photos offer several options for decorating the pages:

  Summer Reading List Book

  Summer Reading List Book

The “S” used to make the word BOOKS was snipped off an extra “SUMMER”.

  Summer Reading List Book

Aren’t those fun?

  Summer Reading List Book

My book had a tight coil binding, so I decided not to remove it. That meant that there was no inking done under the coil. I adhered a skinny strip of ribbon to cover the plain chipboard. Then I knotted several ribbon bits to the top coil.

Summer Reading List Book

Now I have a great new book to fill with all my summer reading lists!

PCC makes it so easy to customize files!

With the options of “Print Then Cut” and “Cut”,

we can personalize our projects in so many wonderful ways!

There are a multitude of great files in the shop for this type of project.

You can get the Book Lovers Bundle HERE.

After making the book, let the kids decorate/personalize their own bookmarks.

DIY Sympathy Card Idea

DIY Sympathy Card2

Good morning Printable Cuttable Creatable Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.  I want to share with you a sympathy card I was asked to make.

It was for a woman that passed and a man that would be receiving it.  I wanted to make sure it was pretty and feminine enough to represent a woman but still a bit for a man.

Let’s see how I did.

DIY Sympathy Card2

I used the Spring Flower Flourish Corner as my SVG. While my main flower was pink, I kept some turquoise/blues in there, along with a solid matte gold flourish.

DIY Sympathy Card

Sticking with the turquoise/blue family I used it for my background. Then using pink as my embossing powder to highlight my sentiment. (This is a stamp set by Just Rite called Sympathy Handwritten Sentiments.  This is no longer available when I went to find a link for you all.)

SO, what do you think?  Did I do at least an okay job keeping it gender-neutral? Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

The files I used for this project from PCC is:

DIY Monogrammed Mug Idea

Hello friends!  This is Linh or LV Handcrafted across the socials. The best gift is a handmade gift. But why not kick your handmade gifts up a notch by monogramming them!  How awesome would it be to drink out of a mug featuring your favorite animal in the world with your name or initial on it?  The Whole Split Circle Flamingo SVG is perfect for monogramming your projects. This particular mug is going to my aunt on my husband’s side. She LOVES flamingos. I actually monogrammed her first and last initials on the same mug so whichever way the mug is facing, it’s undoubtedly her mug! 🤣 I can’t wait for her to get this!
