Size the ghost and the text so it will fit your pallet. I used the “assembled” ghost svg and set all the lines to cut. I used two 12 by 12 inch sheets of basswood and cut the ghost from one sheet and the text from the other. Cut them using the settings on your machine.

Cowboy Ghost Sign Idea

I usually paint my wood before I cut it, but since I cut everything at once so that the pieces could “nest” inside each other I painted after cutting. I like to separate the pieces by the color I want to use on them and then paint them one color at a time. Let the paint dry completely and apply a second application if necessary.

Cowboy Ghost Sign Idea

Glue the pieces together, using small dots of glue. Then assemble the ghost and the text on the background pallet. Use wood glue to adhere them, and place something heavy (I use books) on top while it dries.

DIY Space Craft Idea

DIY Space Craft Idea ig

Hello, everyone! It’s Nancy here with a new project share.

Have you seen all the fabulous Space-Themed files that have been added to the shop?
So many fun new listings!
I have combined three of them on my project today.

Here’s my project:

DIY Space Craft Idea ig

Isn’t that fun?

Isn’t that Fun?

Here’s how I did it:

I began by making my background.

I’ve inked “galaxy” backgrounds before.

However, these cuts have so much color in them that I wanted something different.

This was so simple!

I cut a piece of black cardstock 5 1/2″ square.

I used a fan brush, with white acrylic paint, and simply splattered the paper.

Then, I set it aside to thoroughly dry.

Space Rocket Card

Here are all the pieces I cut out:

Space Rocket Card

The fun title cut includes a little rocket.

Since I was using a bigger rocket, I decided to leave that out.

I had an idea…so I cut 2 of the “OUT” and “WORLD”.

From the second cut, I used only a “U” and an “R”.

Now my title is “U R OUT OF THIS WORLD”.

Space Rocket Card

Then it was just a matter of gluing all the little bits together,

and adhering them in place in the background.

I then added it to a yellow card base.

I curved the spaceship slightly and adhered it in place with foam tape.

Space Rocket Card

Such a fun card to put together! Head on over to the shop and check out all the space files!

DIY Space Party Idea

DIY space themed party idea 10

Hello everyone, I, Ellen, bring you another lot of fun inspiration for a space birthday party.

I used a lot of fun new SVG files, such as the Spaceship Rocket, Sun, Earth, and Moon, Planets, Alien, Comet, and the free Stay Weird Alien SVG.

DIY Space Party Idea

All the items I’m showing today are made with vinyl (you stick the artwork layer by layer on the objects). Of course, you can also make stickers from the illustrations and use them to decorate everything. If it is a big party, this last method can save a lot of work!

But of course, it’s not a party without a cake topper!

I decorated a badge instead of a crown. The button actually had a smiley, but of course, I could hide the smiley with the globe.

Here, you can see everything together again. I love the end results—they look like magic.
How are you planning to add a little magic to your next birthday party?

I have used the Groovy Retro SVG Bundle.
This is another fabulous bundle of goodies that is full of creative possibilities!
Here’s my project:

Here’s my finished project:

Isn’t that fun?

These cars have always been near and dear to my heart!

Whether you call them Volkswagens, Beetles, or Bugs; they’re just wonderful!

IMG 5951

My cousin is currently restoring his old Bug.

Maybe my card will give him some ideas for the paint job!? lol

It was so much fun to cut and add all those lovely decorative bits.

IMG 5953

I used foiled paper to give the “chrome” the proper shine.

My black card base measures 5 1/2″ square, with the yellow mat at 5″ square.

I sized everything else to fit into 5″, in Cricut Design Space.

IMG 5954

This card was lots of fun to put together.

All the little embellishments are quite small but they cut beautifully!

It was a breeze to put together, using tweezers and a glue pen.

First Day of School Chalkboard

First Day of School Chalkboard 1

Good morning Printable Cuttable Creatable Fans!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility.  With school starting, I wanted to share my project of the First Day of School Chalk Board.  Here is how mine came out:

First Day of School Chalkboard 1

I used cardboard and painted it with chalkboard paint and then used the file to cut cardstock out all my pieces.

This file is made to be used for Vinyl and I had all intentions of using vinyl but ended up not having enough of a couple colors and wouldn’t be here on time.  That is why I decided to try the cardstock.  I really love the way it came out!

Here is my grandson, Lachlan on his first day, Star sunglasses and all!   He loved his sign and loved giving me the answers to the questions!

First Day of School Chalkboard

I hope you will try this for your kids or grandkids!
